Location, helpful staff (didn't need breakfast so no comment)

Worst hotel I have stayed in for this sort of price £115 for night. Guess coach trippers were paying a fraction of this! Musty smell on opening door to room. Worse in bathroom which needed major makeover. Threadbare carpets. Inadequate 2 person lift.

Location was perfect and we were able to base all our travel from this hotel. Very comfortable and very inviting Dining was very good quality.

No fridge in the room.

The location is great, near the main area and close to train/ bus centre. I also really liked the staff, they were super friendly and we were able to leave our backpacks at the reception after check out

The room was stuffy and had a bad smell. The curtains were old and dusty and kept getting stuck whenever we would slide them to open or close the window. The bathroom had a towel holder that was excessively overheated and there was webbing hanging from the ceiling.

Room tired (213), the bathroom had a big puddle on the floor, I think either the toilet or a water pipe was leaking. I reported it twice, the receptionist said she would send some straight up, nothing, then said they would move my room, nothing!! Breakfast was so bland. Another receptionist moaned about a foreign tourist who was trying to locate her insulin that was in a fridge in the kitchen but couldn't understand the directions and went off upset, It wouldn't have hurt to escort her there!!
