Palette Resort Myrtle Beach

Room was much larger than expected and lots of new upgrades. Huge soaking tub. Cold AC. Great balcony.

There was some construction but that’s Myrtle.

The fact tht it was beachside and Affordable 3 pools Sun deck

Room door was very hard to open Toilet didnt feel connected to the floor Burners on stove top were tilted No Toilet paper in the room Booked a stay for 2 adults 2 children and only 2 towels in room No blow dryer..ask front desk they didnt know..said they'd ask housekeeping an never heard anything more Parking space to unload very tight Rooms look completely different than the actual room

The location of it being right on the beach. The staff members were all very polite. Our rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The shower was amazing with water pressure. The beds were comfy.

It is under renovation, so the gym wasn't available. The hot tub wasn't working, you had to park across the street behind another hotel, and our refrigerator didn't get cold.

Nothing

Everything was wrong .. we get there and they made us change rooms like 4 times so it took us about 3 hours to even get settled in. Then the shower was leaking in the room , we reported it and no one fixed it the whole stay.. so we had clothes and my curling iron ruined because for some reason water start leaking near our beds as well. Didn’t even get any money back from this either.

The size of the rooms

The place was a mess. The hot tub didn't work. The lazy river didn't work. The breakfast area was not available. The gym was not set up. The elevators looked like jail cells. The appliances were beat up. The floors were dirty and scratched up. The walls had a lot of paint spots on them. Ican go on and on. I'm a GM for a different business and I would never let my company be presented in the fashion that this place is. Totally disappointed.
