Lovely location, people, and hotel!

Location

Being in the beach was its only perk

Very dirty, toilet wouldn’t flush and the shower wouldn’t drain. We had to take showers in puddles of standing water. Office staff didn’t care.

I did like the location.

Overall it wasn’t the cleanest place, a broom was left in the room for us to clean . I was bitten several times in the bed. Beds were hard!! Pool was moldy it was so nasty! It’s needs a good update. Not a place I would stay for how much we paid a night. Oh yea we didn’t get checked in til after 5 , because they were still cleaning they said. so there is most of our money gone!!! It was bad!!!

Close to everything and the price was great! The staff was great as well!

Our room smelled like weed and it was booked so they couldn’t move us and they tried to get the smell gone but it didn’t work. We had to deal with it. But you get what you pay for and it was pretty inexpensive so that definitely helped.

It was located on the beach, and the hotel was right in the mix of everything. Front desk staff were great to work with, even under pressure. Cleaning team was courteous and helpful. The city had a major water main break, and the staff kept us informed every step of the way. Was that inconvenient, yes, but the communication we received from the hotel made it better to deal with.

Hotel is in need of an EXTREME makeover. Good things: The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. My room looked over the pool area, no problems there. My brother had a balcony view room, that was spacious with a great view. Bad things: Room furnishings were antiquated and shabby, everything was dated. One plug by the bed and it would only work with one connected device even when using a small extension cord. Rust was on the shelving; the toilet may as well had been a hole in the floor for how low it was to the floor. As a person with some mobility issues, it was a struggle to rise from the seat. Never got hot water from the sink. Flooring and around the baseboards made you feel like the whole room was dirty. The restaurants were mostly closed or had just closed. We were never able to eat on property, which was unfortunate.

The location was great! The staff were friendly when we ran into them. One of them saw us leaving our room and ran to us to go ahead and exchange our towels and trash. I thought that was nice of him. It was perfect for a quick getaway for me and my son.

The cleanliness was decent. Clean enough. I didn't plan on being in the room that much anyway. There was a huge clump of long blond hair on the balcony and we do not have that type of hair. Otherwise just minor stuff. I noticed when I was plugging up my charger, there was trash from a previous tenant.
