Camera nuova, pulita e ben accessoriata. Posizione comodissima in quartiere molto tranquillo. Tutto super!

Walking distance to city center, metro/train stations, bus stops and convenience stores. Also, the neighborhood around the hotel is very calm and peaceful.

Pillow and mattress combination were not very comfortable. Also, check-in reception was at different location than the hotel (10 minutes driving), so anticipate that you still have to carry your luggages from the check-in location to the hotel by either using the metro or taxi as you could not take big luggages into the local buses.

Prachtig wijkje en mooie kamer. Heel rustig en je loopt zo de drukte in.

Kyoto is groot en de activiteiten liggen uit elkaar dus qua locatie niet altijd handig

We love our stay at this place, Almost perfect The room was clean and as expected a bit small but LARGE for Japan . The only thing that I would change is Chairs and table to stay in the room are extra from my POV I would have remove a chair and a table and just leave the night stand and a chair to have a bit more of room for luggage But Everything was just perfect

lovely, very clean, the corridor to the room is very narrow, there is no room for opening your luggage (that's common in Japan) but for a 4* you'd expect a bit more amenities to be available

it was annoying that there was no front desk at the location, you had to pick up the keys to another place that's 20minutes walk away, so if you're with suitcases, we had to Uber. It also makes it more expensive to send your luggage and less convenient. for a 4* maybe it is worth it for the suite, we had a triple room and it was nice but I would not rate it 4* as there were no amenities (no washing machine in common areas, no water fountain etc). I'd have preferred a regular hotel for the same price with washing machines + front desk (except if I got the suite, looks like it was worth it from the pictures).

The property was clean and we liked how local and within a beautiful neighbourhood it was located in. We could explore hidden cafes and restaurants that were walking distance. It was near Kyoto station and the main shopping district as well as main bus stops. The initial structure of the property was preserved well and we really liked that touch to the house. Many amenities inside the room which guests could enjoy

Walls were super thin and so you needed to be quiet all the time. We couldn't really relax while inside our room because we had to be mindful of other guests that were a few steps away in their rooms.

Staff online were friendly

The rooms were a lot smaller than they looked online and quite cramped.

This property was in the heart of it all but tucked away on a quiet side street. It has everything you could need in a stay. As if you were living in your very well appointed own apartment in the city. We especially loved the Japanese mattresses which were very comfortable for our kids and came with very nice bedding that made for restful sleep.

Nice to stay in a small Machiya style place rather than a hotel.

No room service for 3 days so bathroom smelt musty with 3 days of damp towels.
