Parking, check in, comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was in the middle of downtown where the bathtub races were being held.

TV in the room did not have good reception.

The elevators, The room, The rust, dust, chipped paint, dirty carpets, creepy halls, eerie feeling, thin doors, creepy locks, dirty bathrooms, old house smell, old furniture, curtains didn’t close, old school keys. HORRIBLE parking. And the non refundable fee.

The hotel lobby is beautiful and the location is great for touring of the bathhouses and downtown Hot Springs.

The rooms are in need of major renovation and pest control services. The mattress was old and unsupported. When I turned the bathroom light on,during the night, the bathroom had multiple roaches.

The history

I think it needs some updating it can still be old and have the history but some tiles in the bathroom was falling off

Breakfast buffet is very good with many offerings. The staff are all wonderful and very helpful.

The hotel is 100 years old and so everything is old. But they are in the process of remodeling and renovating so it will be much nicer when the rooms have been updated.

The Arlington Hotel has so much character that you don’t get in many hotels these days. Beautiful architecture and very comfortable, plentiful spaces to enjoy outside your room. Our room had a few things like peeling paint and chipped grout that old buildings usually sport, but they are currently renovating inside, so it’ll be fine in the future, I’m sure. Our beds and towels were clean and comfortable. The staff, every single one, were the most helpful and friendly I think we’ve encountered in a hotel. They will help you with anything and do it quickly. Dogs are welcome in the hotel and it was such a sweet thing to have them present everywhere. We paid an insanely great, low “member” rate. We were walking distance to so much! If you’re offended by old buildings, you won’t like it here. If you think they’re charming, this will be a really great option for you! We’ve traveled the world and stayed in both suites and questionable rooms above pubs- it’s all an adventure! We really enjoyed our stay.

The place just was....old and not in a rustic way just didnt feel clean to us. And I know they were doing renovations but even without that being a factor it still didn't feel too clean to me. The fridge did not work and parking was down the road in an old parking garage that is very dangerous to walk uo and down when it is wet.
