Had a little issue with some odor / gas and then cold air to airing out the hall. Staff was responsive and helpful to re room us and make us comfortable. Kat K and Nick were the epitome of customer service !

Rooms very outdated. in desperate need of renovations! Room was filthy! Rooms in that condition should not have been rented

We rented a room at the Arlington hotel in April, 2026, and it is the worst hotel room we have ever rented. The carpet in the room was disgusting. It was badly stained and wrinkled. I think it is beyond shampooing. We kept our shoes on while in this room. At night, we kept our shoes by the bed so that we did not step on that disgusting carpet. There was a large mirror on one wall that had lights above it. The lights had brown/black stuff on them that had leaked down the mirror. The cover around the mirror was splattered with something brown on the inside. I don't want to know how whatever that is got there. We paid extra for a room that had hot springs water piped into the bathroom so that we could enjoy a hot springs private bath. The tub was gross. The tub had black raised up stuff on it. The tub was peeling in places, too. The tub caulking around the tub was mostly black. We did not use the tub because it was so gross. The mirror in the bathroom was peeling, too. The tub is narrow and long, making it a challenge for some body types to take a bath in it. There were no pictures on the website of the bathroom. The hotel should show pictures of the bathrooms so that people can be informed as to what they are renting. The only good thing about this room was that the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff we encountered at the front desk were not at all welcoming, some to the point of being rude. The waitress that took care of us at our continental breakfast was friendly and professional. There was something piled on the carpet near our table. We didn't get too close, but it looked like a dog had an accident. We arrived mid-afternoon and stayed only one night. Nothing was open in the hotel during our stay. I suggest anyone staying at the hotel and wanting to use any of the facilities, like the spa, to make sure it is open during your visit. I imagine this hotel was spectacular when it first opened. It could be amazing now. It needs a lot of work. I am making an assumption that the room we rented is not uniquely disgusting. This is not a place we would stay again in its current state. If the hotel is renovated with new carpets, updated bathrooms and CLEAN, we might considered staying again. The hotel should update the photos on its website so people know what they are renting.

The lobby and restaurant were nice and beautifully maintain.

The room (1012) was ok but the carpet was dirty. The shower had mildew and was moldy

I've always liked the Arlington and even went on my honeymoon there 37 years ago and I've been back several times. Knowing the hotel is very dated that's to be expected but this past weekend will probably be my last there. There was NO housekeeping and never even saw a cart. There was paint flaking off the bathroom walls, shelf over sink was sagging and couldn't place anything on it or it'd slide off. The comfort of the bed and the pretty lobby and outside features was the best thing about it. The staff at the front desk was very very helpful and sweet.

The lock on our door didn't work right and we couldn't use the deadbolt at all. Our protection was that little chain between the door facing and door.
