Aguamar Apartamentos, Los Cristianos Downtown

Fair sized room for three adults and one three year old. Very clean, nice balcony. Lack of oven and large pans made cooking in the kitchen impossible apart from breakfast and snacks. Hotel extras were costly inc WiFi, A/C and breakfast. Hotel said no parking was available, but there was a big car park out at the front and ample parking in the surrounding streets

Booked for 3 nights but luckily only had to stay for 1. Our room was at the side and we had to walk around 3 sides of the hotel to reach it. We were on the ground floor so didn't have a balcony. There was a path outside our room so there was no privacy. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable, but the bathroom and kitchenette were tiny.

We had limited choice as we booked very late and were slightly concerned as the hotel was described as basic. However we were very pleasantly surprised to find it modern, comfortable and beautifully clean. Very good value breakfast. Easy walk down to the seafront and taxis cheap when we wanted to avoid walking back up to the hotel.

The Aguamar is very nice but the neighbourhood can be noisey especially at night with people coming and going. The walk down to the beach areas can be made very pleasant if you use the pathways through the trees.

Would recommend the aguamar completely. Our apartment was clean and perfect for our stay. Great bar nearby called Java, great fun and fantastic staff. Only issue we had was the noise in the morning from the traffic(our apartment backed on to a busy road).

enjoyable week's stay in los cristianos

The apartments were clean & tidy and equipment adequate. However room we were given was very noisy (traffic noise). We asked to move which was quickly arranged. Another room we were shown was next to pool generator which was also noisy but we were told was only on in daytime. We were given a quieter room which was much better. The only 2 drawbacks were the view (wasteground) and the balcony not getting any sun.
