Aguamar Apartamentos, Los Cristianos Downtown

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful from arrival right the way through to check out. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. All of the facilities were kept in good order. It wasn't close to the beach but only a relatively short walk away, with lots of buses and taxis also easily accessible.

Stayed in an apartment for 6, was as expected with clean rooms and plenty of space. Beds bit hard but not enough to cause a problem with us or 4 kids. Rooms hot but we slept on sofa and left balcony door open with no bites. Pool bar very very expensive for soft drinks so used supermarket just 5 mins away. Overall was nice stay with no hotel problems, would use again.

Stayed with 3 children. No entertainment but was aware before travel. cheap pool bar! Beds a little hard. Life guard great with kids. Best of all was the cleanliness of this hotel. stayed in lots of apartments but by far the best cleans. Maids constantly cleaning even cleaned the sun beds daily. Great all rounder would defo stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Aguamar Apts. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice pool. The only downside was the noise from the heavy traffic as the bedroom was overlooking the street. However would recommend this Apartment Complex.

Helpful staff. clean everwhere. Felt very relaxed, although bars across the road can be a little noisy on occassion late at night.

As most Americans travelling in Europe know, it is impossible to find a reasonably priced hotel with the comforatble beds that are relatively standard in the US. I was sceptical as we ended up with the typical twin beds, but the hotel staff put them together with sheets that made it feel (almost) like a queen bed. They were fairly comfortable. The hotel is very clean, and the staff was extremely sweet and accomodating. They have a heated pool which is neccesary in the winter months if you want to swim, and it is a short walk to the beach. Full kitchen is also nice for keeping cold drinks and having coffee and breakfast in the morning.

I stayed at the hotel with wife & 3 young kids on 3rd floor. Nice looking building and spacious rooms. Child safety was my main concern.The door cannot be locked to insiders, meaning a child can leave the room without notice. The slide door to the balcony was faulty meaning the children went out there freely, which is dangerous as the protective bars on the balcony are low in height. I spent my time chasing toddlers who kept opening the doors to run out. The weather was soo hot there was no air con or fan to cool off. This place does not suit anyone with toddlers. House keeping is not daily, with young kids you need to clean regularly.

THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE AND WITHIN A FIVE MINUTE WALK OF LOS CRISTIANOS BEACH HOWEVER IT WAS A 25 MIN WALK TO LAS AMERICAS. THE POOL ATTENDANT WAS EXCELLENT AND GOT INVOLVED WITH THE KIDS IN THE POOL.

Friendly, clean and central. We had no problems at all with anything!
