The Metropole Hotel

Staff were all amazing and had things running smoothly .rooms were ok but looking very tired and in need of updating. Overall lovely stay as the staff made you feel welcome even though it is steange times. Would stay again

Looks nothing like the pictures, the bed was shocking the springs from the mattress Was sticking out. Wasn’t any soap in the room to wash your hands which is disgusting but during the pandemic is not acceptable at all

Not nice customer service room was tiny than expected with a large single bed or very small double bed which me and my partner didn’t find comfortable also was cold asked for heating which was promised but never happened, asked to upgrade our room in which was refused as apperently there weren’t any but sure they wasn’t that full but oh well , over all would defintly not stay ere again although not the worst still can think of one compliment to give this hotel experience everything was below standard

It`s Needs up dating looks a bit uncare for beds was really blits room to small and very hot bathroom door would not open from the inside breakfast very limited staff was very helpful and parking rate was good

Very poor hotel, needs a total refit, don't waste your money there are plenty of nicer places to stay in Blackpool! The manager is a joke you have to join a line to complain in the morning and he just walks off saying everyone is lying!

The staff are rude, have zero customer service! The hotel is dirty. Cigarette burns in the carpets. The walls in the roo. Where dirty. The hotel needs to have a good top to bottom clean and paint. Staff need to be placed on a course to learn to speak to customers with care and a little respect.

Check in was an awful experience with check in staff demonstrating a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. We witnessed two customers switching rooms after both had an unsuccessful time with the reception staff helping accommodate their needs

Awful hotel, probably the worst I have ever stayed in. The place is so run down and unclean it's not worth the risk anymore. Receptionist just said your room is 3rd floor and the lift is that way. No other information or pleasantries. Room was dirty, but and noisy, and bed was horrid. I came very close to finding another hotel but choices were limited.

Overall the hotel was ideal for location and had its own parking. It was clean and adhered to safety regulations. Most of the staff were courteous. The part of the builing where my room was shouldn't have been let out during summer. It was a small room with a small window which you were unable to see through i suppose it was hiding the large very noisy generator or other noisy machine. Consequently you could not leave the window open as the loud drumming kept you awake this meant the room became a very hot sauna also. There were no other rooms available and when i spoke to the reception on leaving was told its fine in winter.
