The Metropole Hotel

Hotel looked grand but other than that very disappointing, staff not very helpful rooms dated, and grounds filthy with cig butt, and litter wouldnt stay again

I really urge all customers to never step foot in this hotel. The stay from start to finish was totally terrible. Rude staff when asking for new towels. Cash only in a covid time , staff are full blown rude , facilities are disgusting or out of order , thats just the lobby. The rooms are even worse concrete beds and pillows , dirty stinking rooms and everything about this stay was awful. I’ve stayed in 100’s of hotels and this is by far the worst I’ve ever stayed in , in my life. This is a 0/5 hotel and definitely not worth your money

The room was clean apart fron the windows which were filthy inside amd out. Also we were not informed that there was scaffolding obstructing our sea view which we paid alot for. The downstairs of the hotel is very tired and needs alot of work.

Nice hotel overall ......only negative for me was it was cold in bathroom like a ice box no heatimg in there but main room was warm

It was a last minute decision to go had a look on hotels. Com , found this hotel on the front near to the cafes restaurant's the hotel was built in the 1700 so you should expect it to have some signs of wear , room was fine staff were pleasant , has on site parking at a cheap rate

Hi We stayed at the metropole for 1 night we surprised family in Blackpool. Before booking this I didn’t realise it was a Britannia hotel if I did I would never have booked it. The room wasn’t even the room I booked. The room was clean just. The pillows and mattress well I’ve slept on softer concrete floors. Overall I certainly would not recommend this hotel. It’s a stunning building but is extenuó tired, dated, rundown and abused.

This hotel is very old and needs alot of TLC, rooms are very basic but clean, we always stay here coz the building and architecture is lovely great place for a short stay

First time I have stayed in a hotel with them supplying towels if it was because of covid-19 they should have let us know in advance

Lovely big and clean hotel with lots of parking available. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. We booked a standard double room and were impressed with how spacious and clean it was. There were no towels in the room but after asking at reception we were given some. We would definitely stay here again!

It is a nice place but the 3rd floor stank of smoke and the beds were very uncomfortable! We only stayed one night whitch was more than enough.
