The Metropole Hotel

Good location, Was probably very Grand in its day but now very dated dreary hotel, £15.20 for 2 g&ts served in half pint glasses and no lemon.

We got giving a smokers room and non of you us smoke so the smell wasn’t great , we didn’t have no toilet roll in the room and Had to ask 3 times for it

Not a very nice hotel made worse by the rude staff. I get it’s a old hotel but the cleanliness of the rooms and balconies was terrible. We asked for toilet roll 3 times and still did not get any we had to buy from a local shop

Checked in at 4pm, checked out at 4.40pm, same day, stayed that long as it took me over 20 mins to book new accommodation. Room was filthy, pillows and towels were lying on dirty carpet outside room no soap in bathroom, receptionist said I was wrong as there must be soap in room. Carpet was dirty and dust was building up on power outlets, the only surfaces which were clean was the ones your eyes could see. Avoid this place like the plague.

Nice hotel great location very central to Blackpool North amenities rooms were a little tired looking but great value for the price would definitely stay again 🙂

Hotel is tired and is crying out for restoration, but staff were helpful and friendly.

Room was just ok bathroom fine with a great shower. Two small balconies with patio doors that do not open which is ok, but someone who stayed there managed to through rubbish out of the window so when you look through the window for the sea view you can’t help but notice the rubbish, not very nice. The hotel in general a very tired look and feel to it. I would not stay there again. The staff on the front desk were very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was nice, and the catering staff were really good.

The rooms look nothing like they did in the pictures, rooms were absolutely disgusting smelt like cigarettes, would not recommend this hotel to anyone was very disappointing.

Romm was outdated and dirty also was red hot was baked to death nearly window was open heating off underfloor heating was on or something they didn't change my room so slept in my car

Hotel is in a good location with a car park but we only realised on arrival that you have to pay an extra £5 per night to park which added £15 to our stay. There is a big lack of power sockets in the room. On the 2nd night the smoke alarm went off at 4am and continued to go off intermittently until midday when we went out. We complained to reception and the response was laughable. The receptionist just said 'I bet you're not happy' and laughed. There was no apology never mind any offer of recompense. I asked if we could have a late check out the next day to make up for it and was told it would be impossible as we hadn't booked one. When we checked out I left a jacket in the room. I called them as soon as I realised and was told somebody would call me back. I had to ring every day for 5 days until somebody did. I was asked to pay £5 by card over the phone for the jacket to be posted back to me. That was Aug 24th and at writing on Sept 1st I have still not received it. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.
