"Excellent"

Located on a high point beside the Roman ruins of Diana, the Pousada offers panoramic views (outside) of the city. It is the perfect place for anyone enamored by old historic accommodations. However, be prepared to hike down and then back up the steep streets leading to the Pousada, because most of Evora’s sites are located lower in the city. The sraff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast glass of sparkling wine was a pleasant surprise.

It's very central in Evora and luxurious too. It is expensive and caters to the better off, which is perhaps why it's not signposted from the train station. However, the Roman temple isn't signposted either, so perhaps it's the city's problem rather than the hotel?

This hotel is old and historic and was once a convent. It is beautifully decorated and is in an excellent location.

Historic building. Room not spacious but comfortable, swimming area lovely. Looks into Roman Temple and next to cathedral. Easy to reach from highway

"POUSADA CHAIN"

location was amazing- could not have asked for better. Super friendly staff. Only complaint was the comfort of the beds- they were too hard for me. Had a meal there and it was superb.

"Impressive service, food and hotel."

Really good welcome and friendly, helpful check in (Pedro). Very small bedroom (cell) & even smaller bathroom. The bedroom tended to be very stuffy, as the window could not open at night as there were no curtains but only shutters. Shower over the bath was poor. Very small bathroom. Comfy large bed. Food in the restaurant was delicious and nicely presented. Very good attentive service. The hotel is really very impressive inside with period furniture. Free parking. WiFi drops out irregularly.
