The rooms are very tired, our sheets had marks on them and the pillow cases were old and fraying

Fabulous hotel that has managed to maintain the charm of a bygone era with a modern, crisp and comfortable atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent!! Breakfast consists of a bountiful spread and ala carte is also available. Overlooking Table Mountain, the views from the restaurant are breathtaking. With sufficient indoor and outdoor seating there are enough spots to choose from.

We have just left this large but cosy hotel. We had a loft room on the 3rd floor which was unusual, clean, warm, had everything you needed. The sloping windows are a feature but I would have liked to be able to see more out of them - they have narrow shutters. But that was my only complaint. The staff were helpful and pleasant, food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and well presented. Breakfast was a pleasure too. The waterfront location is fantastic, you really should stay here.

Wir mussten eine Flasche stilles Wasser extra zahlen - es waren zwar nur 65 Rand, aber irgendwie überflüssig. Leider dauert es so lange, bis warmes Wasser aus der Dusche kommt, dass ich immer nur kalt duschen konnte...
