We booked a spacious room with a mountain view, and it was comfortable and well-sized. ‏The breakfast was fairly good, though it lacked variety, especially for Muslims. However, the hotel staff were excellent—very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. ‏Special thanks to Mr. Jean-Pierre for his kindness and outstanding service. He was extremely helpful throughout our stay and kindly extended our checkout time from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. ‏I stayed at this hotel twice—once before heading to the Garden Route and once after returning—and both stays were very pleasant. ‏I highly recommend staying here.

Had to sojourn a few more days in cape Town after Delta Airlines cancelled our return flight to Atlanta. After six nights at the Cape Grace (really, really nice!!), we decided to go cheaper with the V&A. Great idea. Wonderful location, great staff, good food and great rooms. While the Cape Grace was a real treat, this was a better choice for value and location. Also had a great TV to watch the final round of the Masters. I would stay here next time when back in Cape Town.

We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel for 4 nights while in Cape Town. Brilliant location on the waterfront. From the moment we arrived the staff were super helpful to us and made sure our stay was wonderful. Our rooms were facing Table Mountain and were huge! Special shoutout to Byron who showed us around Cape Town and recommended so many cool restaurants and things to see! Highly recommend staying here for the location, staff and views of Table Mountain.

We have have been well looked after every time we have stayed here. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to advise. Breakfasts are excellent, rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the location is second to none! Perfect for the Waterfront with a lively atmosphere through the day, but always quiet at night.

We have no complaints, except I wish there were more rooms, as it becomes booked out very quickly.
