Oscar was really helpful during the whole trip, thanks a lot again

I left 2 jackets in the room and nobody contacted me about it.. I never met anyone there...

The accommodation is easily accessed from the airport by bus (directions readily available from host), and a modern lift travels effortlessly between ground level and the 9th floor. Rooms are modern, clean, and sensibly furnished, including desk. Wifi is good. Shared area includes a bathroom, kitchen and dining area. Interaction with the host, Oscar, is most times by messaging, and his responses are almost instant, always supportive and informative. Access to the sea front and promenade walkway is a short distance, and the shopping and historical areas of the city are already accessible within a twenty minute walk to the Triana area of Las Palmas.

The positives The guests in the whole building (not the shared individual apartments ) are respectfully quiet The apartments are clean The security is good The apartments are not far from the city centre, a 15 minute bus ride away! The apartments have a beautiful view when looking out the window. Oscar sends a welcome message with a list of things to do, which is a nice touch

The area of the property is lower demographic, the area is infested with cockroaches the usual sights in the area will be seeing people who are on drugs or alcohol dependent. I was once woken up to someone outside the window vomiting for over 20 minutes.. not nice! Another night a man screaming of excitement for over 60 minutes; disturbing my sleep! The whole area smells like sewage/Urine & feces. There is alot of dog feces littered around the area, so becareful where you step! This smell travels up to floor 9. We tried to mask it with Incense, the agent Oscar asked us to stop burning Incense because of fire hazards! So unfortunately we had to grin and bear it, once I woke up feeling so sick that I vomited. There Is a quiet time policy at night, on two nights two females stayed, they made so much noise banging doors, coming in and out of the shared apartment, playing music loud. I had to ask them twice to turn the music down then reported it to Oscar once the noise was still ongoing. Oscar was very defensive; telling me it's a shared apartment and I must be patient? I have already exercised many days of patience at this point! After that conversation, Oscar became distant! He also withdrew his promise of me using the washing machine?! The regular 2pm cleaning of the apartment stopped with no communication!
