Inn at Big White

Perfect for two.

Across the road from ski in/out run, ski hire and restaurants. Hotels Blarney Stone pub a great asset, good atmosphere and great food. Outside hot tub and pool fantastic, small gym if wanted. Rooms very large and well appointed, sleep 4 adults and space for kitchen and fireplace. Would recommend The Globe for healthy delicious Tapas 2 minutes from hotel.

Good location to access ski slopes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to village.

Really, the hotel staff couldn't be more accommodating. They are just great - always happy to help. The hotel itself is a little long in the tooth - but the location for skiing couldn't be better. It's not exactly ski in and out -- more ski out and walk in. You can ski out to the bunny hill from the ski-locker door. From the village center, you have to remove your skis to cross the road to the hotel. Still very very convenient. We didn't have breakfast in the restaurant - we're a microwave oatmeal type of family. But we did have several suppers. My family really enjoyed the "Indian-fusion" menu, the piano player, and the vista from the restaurant windows. The samosas are good and their vindaloo beef made my ears burn and my mouth smile. My daughter liked the pepper tuna salad. The bar proudly serves the famous Okanogan wine and beer. I don't drink wine but I recommend the Okanogan Spring Pale Ale that was on tap when we were there. Big White is a great family ski resort. There are runs that are fun for almost everyone. It has some of the best late season snow. It snowed about a foot during our mid-March stay.

My son and I recently spent 3 nights at the Inn at Big White over New Years. It proved to be a very friendly place with a great outdoor hot tub/pool. Room was great (TV could be larger) and the mini kitchen a bonus. For the $ this is a good spot for a ski holiday.

Reasonably priced, clean, good breakfast, Aussie hospitality, short walk to the Village Center, inside parking - who could ask for more. Will stay again.
