Hilton Vacation Club Charter Club Naples Bay

From meeting the staff on arrival to leaving everything was perfect- no more than perfect I will be returning soon.

Nothing

No hot water the first night. Had to wait several hours for on-call maintenance to arrive and fix the water heater. Patio doors did not lock well, and we had to keep messing with them. Infested with sugar ants, to the point they were crawling on us and we were getting bit & had itchy bumps everywhere. They denied they had bed bugs. Palmetto bugs in the bedrooms and bathroom. Complained to management and they sprayed the outside. Never seen them come in to spray the inside. Asked management to give us our points back. Never heard from them. Never were offered a different room to stay in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

THE FRONT DESK FOLKS WERE ALWAYS PLEASANT AND RESPONSIVE. THEY HAD CONCERN ESPECIALLY RE THE MILTON STORM. ITEMS LEFT UNKNOWINGLY WERE CORRALLED AND MADE READY FOR P/U BY THE MAILBOX GUY - MARK - WHO SUBSEQUENTLY TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS IN GETTING THOSE ITEMS BACK TO US. THE LADIES FOR KEEPING THE COMMUNAL AREAS CLEAN AND TIDY INTERACTED WHEN NECESSARY AND APPROPRIATELY. LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN WHEN WE CAN GET OUT OF OUR CRAZY WORK SCHEDULE.

Excellent place. Great room. Great location. It's a pity they don't offer housekeeping.

We stayed at the Charter Club as timeshare guests and enjoyed it. The location is good for exploring Naples and environs; the apartments are good and so are the facilities. No shortcomings were spotted.

this resort is one of the most clean and peaceful places that you will ever go. Set in the beautiful town of Naples, Florida. It is low density and high peacefulness. The units are completely renovated and tastefully decorated. we were greeted by Jorge and Isaiah, who both are very professional and care deeply about providing a Greek guest experience. The one issue that might be important to some people is that there is no elevator in the resort. So, if you have difficulty walking upstairs, you might want to request a first floor unit. When you didn’t get its top floor room, and we were lucky enough to have someone bring our luggage upstairs. A resort situation on Naples Bay and has many very serene views. If you want the best view, choose a high floor near the office and in buildings 1, 2 or three. The remainder of the buildings back up to a park where you can still see the bay through the trees, but it is not a full Bay view. There are so many places to eat, shop, visit. But if you want to just stay at the resort and chill out, the pool is wonderful and there is plenty of room for spreading out. There is a hot tub and a children’s pool. We visited the week after Labor Day and the resort was pretty booked, but it didn’t have any noise or we didn’t see that many people. They do have electric bicycles for children and adults to check out and ride around the area. You might want to bring your own helmet. We also went on the Naples princess sunset dinner cruise, and went down the Gordon River and out to the Gulf of Mexico. We got a reserved table at the front of the boat by booking the dinner cruise. We definitely wanted to do something but in air-conditioning as the temperatures in Florida can be pretty brutal in the summer months. The narrated cruise was about two hours, and everyone on board was very friendly, but professional. We also visited Whiskey Park, a sports bar where they had a live band and football on multiple screens throughout the restaurant . They have karaoke there as well on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We were not out and about, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and overlooking the bay, streaming a movie on one of the three large televisions in the unit, or just walking through the park adjacent to the property. Several small maintenance issues were resolved quickly into our satisfaction. it might be good to check everything in your unit and make sure it works and report any problems immediately so that they can get fixed expeditiously. The staff at this resort are all longtime employees and know the property well. They have movies and books that you can borrow from the front desk for free, but they are not the latest releases. They also have games that you can check out and play. This is by far one of the most laid-back resorts that we have been to in the HGVC family. There is no gym or fitness center here, so you can do laps in the pool, ride the bikes, go for a walk, go running or simply do exercises in your unit as desired. I found that doing aerobics in the pool was very refreshing. There is one other thing that needs to be known before you plan your visit here. There is a small airport nearby and you can hear the sound of the planes. If you are very sensitive to noise, I recommend a white noise, machine, noise, cancellation, headphones, or simply earplugs. The room at the front of the unit has slightly more noise at times because it is closer to the street. If you are looking for a safe, quiet and relaxing place to go, Charter Club of Naples Bay is definitely one of your best options.

We had a really nice time, enjoyed the location and friendly service! Jorge and Isaiah were especially great and very accommodating! Our room had just been completely updated, very spacious!! Great views of the bay, a few blocks from downtown and less than a mile from Naples Pier!
