Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa

This is an awesome resort, great for all ages! We went as a family to celebrate our daughter's 40th! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful beach, great restaurants onsite and numerous activities and games to partake in. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND going there!

Just returned from another wonderful stay at Cambridge Beaches. The staff are wonderful and always helpful. The accommodations are great. We had a large 1 bedroom suite with plenty of room for our family of 4. The views from the cottages are spectacular. We really enjoyed having access to onsite rentals at H20. The highlight of our trip was renting kayaks and a small motor boat to explore the beautiful clear water and fish around the bay. We will definitely be back!

Beaches wow. Sunsets wow. Snorting wow. Monday BBQ buffet wow. Very quiet and picturesque. Nice to have several beaches to choose from. Great proximity to Dockyard.

Cambridge Beach Resort and Spa delivers classic Bermuda charm with services and amenities that truly feel unmatched. I’ve stayed several times, and every room or cottage has offered its own stunning view, real privacy, and effortless comfort. Don’t miss the Monday night barbecue—freshly caught tuna, sushi, and a generous spread that sets the tone for the week. It’s also a perfect base for business: I’ve hosted casual meetings by the pool and then zipped into Hamilton in by ferry, taxi and scooter when needed. Staff are polished and genuinely helpful without ever being intrusive, and the property’s old-school elegance is balanced with thoughtful modern touches. A setting that makes both work and downtime easy. I’ll be back!

Our 3rd time to our favorite place-2010 honeymoon-2015- and sadly missed 2020 but back in 2025! It’s a special and unique place. Each time a a familiar but new discovery of the property of all its history and updates. This is a cottage colony and if you’re expecting a “chain” hotel CB is not that, which we appreciate. So happy we were to see restaurant staff from 2010 and 2015 (Lopez et al!) that remembered us and welcomed us. We snorkeled, rented from H2O Sports multiple times, charterer fished on Sea Wolfe and ate our catch ( Mr. C.and Mariss checked it in) and at Pastel and Sunken Harbor (excellent food /cocktails!) All staff are outstanding and we had a fantastic time! Can’t wait to return! A word of advice. Politeness goes a long way and impoliteness goes nowhere in Bermuda 😁 which is most evident and excellent. Thank you CB!

Cambridge makes it very easy to have a relaxing time. The staff is extremely helpful & friendly. The resort really has everything you need for an enjoyable stay - tennis, pickelball, golf nearby, croquet on the lawn, putting/chipping lawn, great bar, excellent Sunken Harbor dinner, private beach coves, indoor pool makes it "weatherproof" along with spa & fitness center, & easy access to rent snorkeling gear, kayaks, etc. There's not much I would change. Also really great breakfast!

A stay of contradictions. The good: - really beautiful location; incredible blue water - excellent breakfasts; great waiting staff and food and a stunning view - we really enjoyed dinners at the Sunken Harbor Club; innovative menus and great staff. Great cocktails - good spa; pleasant staff and treatment. Beautiful internal pool (however it doesnt need to be heated in summer!) - good housekeeping staff What we did not enjoy: - mixed reception staff; some were grumpy bordering on rude with simple requests too much trouble - spent no time explaining the hotel on check-in; eg we did not know about afternoon tea until our penultimate day, we had to figure out where and when breakfast was etc - pool area is far too small with few shaded spots and gets very crowded. Pool service weak. Unless we went after breakfast, we did not find it at all enjoyable given how crowded it was and the absence of shady spots (the pool area is beautiful though) - beach is not well attended with dirty towels left around and gets crowded. Difficult to tell which seats are free…… Not sure what the staff sitting in the huts actually do - we did not enjoy the food at Breezes (the location is good though); the food on one of the two occasions we were there had to be sent back as was over seasoned and not pleasant. - we had access to two rooms (suites) during out stay; one was in a block with a great room but was old with the outside not well maintained. The other last day was newer, felt standalone and was much better I completed as survey post stay along the lines above (with some other points). So far no response which points to indifference from management). The hotel could be excellent. Many of the staff are outstanding, so I feel bad about being critical but the hotel does need to sort itself out. Some aspects of it are 5*, others are 3*. And of course the rates are 5* Bermuda prices….. Would I go again? With guarantees of a good room, out of the reason and probably avoiding Breezes, possible as the location is beautiful and the staff are mostly outstanding.

You may not need to read any more after reading the title. Any place that merits a 12th trip back must have some magnetic magic that cannot be found anywhere else. And that is Cambridge Beaches. Aside from the incredible beauty of the property, it is the deep friendliness and genuine kindness of the staff, greeting you by name, that distinguish CB. From Rachel in Reservations to Richard, the hotel manager, to Jun at Breezes to Monique at Reception, every single encounter is personable and sincere. There must be some kind of insight that identifies and fosters this universal attitude of warmth and welcome in prospective team members and it makes the entire stay feel as though you are home... but in paradise. In truth, CB is expensive, as is Bermuda in general. However, to find a place that might cost 15% less and only provides 50% of what CB does makes it clear that it is not a bargain. The restaurants, the beaches, the amenities and, most of all, the staff make it worth every penny. Even the beds and bedding are exceptional. Do dine at Breezes and have the fish chowder with all the trimmings as well as the rack of lamb. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy both the sunrises and the sunsets. There is no need to leave the property. You will not find better anywhere else. One final point: CB is known for tastefully posting the names of visitors who have returned over the years, some over 100 times, and this is impressive. What is more impressive, however, is the plaque on the facing wall which lists the tenure of some of the staff members. Not only does it speak to the management's respect for their team but it bears testimony to the employees' enjoyment and pride to have remained there for, in some cases, over 40 years...and I miss Roselind and Diana and George...
