Very friendly staff. Excellent location in downtown. Ate at SALT around the corner. Best meal ever. Grabbed two fresh chocolate cookies on the way back to the room. Can't go wrong here.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They had the best snacks out all day and a delicious breakfast. Plus it was very easy to walk to town. Great rooftop view! I would highly recommend this place to anyone deciding where to stay in Juneau.

Nice room, friendly staff, although there weren't always staff there, very communicative via email before our stay, comfy bed, warm room, handy location, quiet. The restaurant downstairs was very good.

The large number of steps to our room and the fact that there is no elevator! This was not emphasised in the copious communications we had received. This made it very difficult for us as we are not as young and strong as we once were - it would have been nice to be warned. Staff were helpful but they were not always available. There was a hand truck there but the wheels fell off when I tried to use it. In the end we had to re-pack our stuff into several smaller bags so that we could safely get it downstairs. The system for storing luggage on our last day was not very secure - just a cupboard with a locking cable - that another guest had failed to lock up properly! The free breakfast was not very appealing but we could easily self-cater in our room.

Uncomfortable bed, room doesn’t get cool enough for heavy bedding, restaurant smells-exhaust (pizza/garlic) come through windows and outdoor decks.

The location was excellent.

The price was $900 Canadian dollars per night. For that we were to get a “superior king room”. There was a bed and two chairs. No kitchenette, micro wave, fridge, coffee maker or anything expected in a superior room. The historic building has not upgraded windows or soundproofing so all road, outdoor and indoor noises are disturbing. The bathroom had a lack of shelving so it functioned poorly. It was appointed nicely but not usefully. The breakfast was self serve and that is ridiculous for the rate. The television was small and placed at the end of the room where subtitles were unreadable from the bed.

Great location. Clean and a friendly staff. Large variety of food with the free breakfast. Warm cookies and/or scones waiting for you every time you returned from an adventure. Easy access to building and room. Centrally located, close to downtown. Great place to stay.
