Silverbow Inn

Hotel had cozy feeling & very well situated. Hot tub was nice on rainy night.

There is no elevator, halls are narrow & stairs are steep. It’s an old hotel that has had limited & selective updating. No special accommodation was made for gluten free allergy. No bread or baked goods. Beds has supper deep foam mattress what I didn’t feel was comfortable, although had nice linen & duvets.

I felt like I was staying in someone’s home, where I was family.

We have stayed at 3 hotels in Juneau and this was by far the best! The staff on reception were friendly and welcoming, gave great recommendations for local estaurants and hikes. They have a small kitchen with complementary snacks and some basic breakfast items, along with board games and sofas. We didn't use the hot tubs but they got rave reviews from other guests and we had robes in our rooms and umbrella hats for the Juneau rain- every detail had been thought through!

Bedroom and bathroom great. Bed linen exceptional!

Breakfast area a little cramped.

Location. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food selection was great. The room was clean. Very comfortable bed.

Very noisy. We could hear other guests and staff from our room. We were awakened both mornings by loud conversations and people walking around above us and in the main room. Navigating the breakfast area was hard. Small space for the number of guests trying to get and prepare their breakfast.

The location is perfect!

No elevator

Beautifully remodelled, but 120 year old squeeking floors are REALLY loud.
