Wir hatten als Familie 2 Tage in Hastings übernachtet. Die Lage war perfekt und sehr zentral mit einem schönen Blick aufs Meer. In einem der Schlafzimmer war ein super bequemer Sessel, auf dem meine Tochter sogleich angefangen hat zu lesen. Die Einrichtung war sehr schön, mit einigen Bildern und Gegenstände in schicken kleinen Regalen. In manchen Schubladen gab es auch noch Spiele, Bücher und Flyer zu Restaurants und Ausflügen. Zum Ausladen der Koffer konnten wir kurzfristig vor der Unterkunft "parken" und danach um die Ecke das Parkhaus anmieten. In unmittelbarer Nähe gab es viele verschiedene Restaurants.

Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte etwas mehr sein und da wir von Hand das Geschirr spülen mussten, wären noch 2 Geschirrhandtücher sinnvoll gewesen. Eine wirkliche Kaffe Maschine gab es leider nicht, nur einen Espressokocher. Eine Spülmaschine gab es nicht. Die Couch auf der rechten Seite war sehr tief und steinhart.

It was all absolutely fine thank you. Coffee Machine is cafetiere so bring your own coffee.

Lovely flat close to the town centre, the view is amazing.

Nothing to report

Views and location were great. The heating worked well and the place was clean, tidy and well equipped. It was also good to have a smart TV that enabled us to watch catch-up TV services and Netflix.

Only minor niggles. The balcony door was very stiff to open and took us a lot of fiddling around to do it, maybe this is just a Winter time thing as we stayed in February. It wasn't clear that the lounge lamp switch needs twiddling around in a circle to switch on, not pressing down. The ceiling light over the dining room table could do with being brighter for Autumn/ Winter evening dining. It would be nice to have a full length mirror in the place. The lounge mat looks a bit tired and could do with replacing. The larger green sofa in the lounge could do with being a bit more comfortable.

Fab location and great views from the balcony

Location was ideal as it was right on the beach front with amazing sea views. High street right behind the building and all the amenities were around the corner. Place was specious with niece furnishing. We were bit worried about all the bad reviews but was really happy to find the accommodation in very good condition. They have replaced all the windows and doors with nice double glazing and all the broken plug sockets which others were complaining about have been replaced. We found everything we need in the apartment. Apart from the two issues I stated below this property is amazing and you wouldn't want to leave the fabulous front room. As it was such a beautiful room with high ceilings and some nice furniture and breathtaking view overlooking the sea. Both bedrooms were specious with high celling and good furniture. But It would have been much better if you can add mirrors to both bedrooms.

The shower taps need to be replaced with some quality ones as the knobs were loos and couldn't turn on the hot water easily because of that. Also the shower cable was leaking. I think you need to hire a window cleaner if your cleaners can't bother to clean the front windows and doors as it seems they haven't cleaned for ages and it obstruct the amazing view and let down the property. This property is amazing but somehow let down by the people who maintain it as they have no attention to details. But that didn't spoil our stay there and we really enjoyed our stay. I recommend others to stay here and ignore the previous comments as apart from the two issues I have mentioned about the property is really amazing and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. But I hope the owners would have a word with the people who maintain the property about the points I made above and if that can be sorted I would definitely give 5 star to this property.
