"Would not recommend"

4.0

I don’t normally write reviews but this hotel is massively overpriced and has some major issues. I would not recommend and we won’t be going back. We are not snobby people and happily enjoy a week at butlins or in a caravan. But this missed the mark. Firstly if you are more than 2 people you need to book a 2 bedroom apartment. We are a family of 5 and were placed in a 1 bedroom apartment. There was not even enough space for all of us to stand, and that was before the sofa bed was pulled out. And one of us was expected to sleep on the sofa. Appalling. The second issue is the dining. The quality food was fine, but there are not enough tables and we often found ourselves loitering around waiting for families to finish their meals which was not nice for them or us. There is also queues for everything, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks. I felt like I was in a school canteen not on my holiday. Also beware that ice creams and not included.. which imo is not really all inclusive! Disappointing. The pools were good, a bit chilly even in July especially when it was overcast. But the gutters in the floor are not cleaned, so do not sit near them unless you like smell of sick and poo. The entertainment was disappointing too, very amateur and a bit lacklustre. The kids liked the kids disco but it wasn’t very long and the same songs every night. All in all we had a nice time away despite this, but if I could go back and stay somewhere else I 100% would.

"DISGUSTING AND FILTHY"

2.0

I've got to be honest here, we are a family of 4, paid almost €5000 for a week all inclusive! Only to be told when we arrived only the local wine and beer are available when fully inclusive. Which was disgusting. we also spoke to alot of families, they who felt the same. The food "buffet style" was was covered with flies every day I really was concerned with hygiene practices... would we visit here again? Not a chance. I Not to mention the poor mattresses, and lazy housekeeping staff..

"A holiday is what you make it. The reviews aren’t wrong - set appropriate expectations and make the most of it!"

6.0

Family of four - 2 adults 2 children (14 and 10) just back from 7 nights here. When people liken this hotel to Butlins they are not wrong. We stayed in room 81 - ground floor near to the baby pool. The room was ok, not great, but we only really needed to sleep in it. There was a double bed in the bedroom, a sofa bed and a pull down single in the living area. The maid came in every day but I’m not sure If they really cleaned it- they made the beds each day for us but the bathroom always had a bit of a smell to it - possibly due to the toilet being loose from the floor. The apartment door had an inch gap at the bottom meaning we had to remove cockroaches and crickets each night. We ended up trying to make a barrier with towels either side of the door. If you wanted to be really picky the light fittings hadn’t been cleaned in a good while. Attention to detail may be lacking a bit. The food was ok. There was always something to eat. The labelling was poor - you had to guess what you were eating a lot of the time. We found the restaurants just to be a massive free for all. It was is they just weren’t able to cope with the amount of people staying. We went to breakfast a couple of times and just gave up as it was so busy. People were queueing and I don’t think they really knew what they were queuing for. There was enough activities to keep you entertained. It was great to see the adults really getting involved with the water polo etc. it was fun to watch. The entertainment team were all friendly and would stop for a chat. The evening entertainment is where it went downhill for us. That tent is an absolute money pit. There are two bars. One all inclusive and one premium drinks. Only two people serving on the all inclusive bar. The queues are mega. People were giving up and paying for premium drinks of buying them from the nearby shop. There are bouncy castles, trampolines candy floss machines etc that all cost money. Be prepared for this if you have children. I’m not adverse to spending money on holiday but if you go every night it will soon add up. The worst part of this holiday for us was the lack of consideration from other holiday makers. The mess people would leave behind was awful. We are all on holiday, but surely we can all put our rubbish in the bin. People were bringing plates of food from the dinner hall to eat on their sun loungers and then leaving their plates for others to clear. Not something I have ever experienced before. Be careful around the pool - it is very slippery. We watched many an adult and child go down. We enjoyed our holiday - it was great to be away as a family and spend time together in the sun, but we wouldn’t hurry back to this hotel.

"Read the reviews and be happy with the price you want to pay"

6.0

I booked this holiday last minute for an excellent price so it can't be said that it wasnt value for money. However... other reviewers are right with their concerns about this hotel if you're paying more typical prices. After settling in for a couple of days, some of my initial horrors were lessened by the resorts advantages. Some things are more 2 star. Rooms: basic, clean but poorly maintained. Dirty, old grouting looks bad. Build up of grime over time on fittings and general wear and tear make things look tired. Rooms on the ground floor are totally exposed to views from the restaurant or passers by being able to see your bed and straight into the open wardrobes. The terraces for the ground floor are not private or secure. Main beds were fine for sleep but i can see why people are frustrated at the pull out sofa option for a third bed. You can hear noisy neighbours quite easily but it was quiet enough at night. Air conditioning worked fine and the room was a nice temperature. Cleaners in daily. Pools: a nice choice of pools for different ages which helps spread everyone out. The splash world slides and activity areas are excellent and give older children lots more to do. Sunlounger numbers are actually good but the hotel does need to enforce pool towel removal for those that block loungers for hours and dont return so that there is space in the afternoon. The life guards at the Splash world are really on it and are a credit to the resort. Restaurants: again, having three helps spread people out so mostly it was possible to find tables. However, staff need to manage people better in the restaurants. Food is spread across a big area so you dont need queues forming. Waits are typically only necessary for freshly fried eggs or meat. The free for all bundle of finding clean tables really knocks down the feel of the venue. As others have said the food is repetitive and okay but not great. Labelling of food is inadequate so if you have intolerances or allergies youre unlikely to know whats in the food. The snack bar is awful but the La Tasca restaurant is open anyway through the afternoon. Wifi is patchy and this is an easily solvable problem. Common areas: this is one of the things that makes the venue feel tatty. It could look nicer if they enforced their own rules with guests about areas not for eating or wearing wet pool clothes. General area toilets can get gross during the day and need more frequent cleaning. The shops on site are good. You perhaps shouldnt need them but its good to be able to buy things you prefer or want without heading to the big supermarket. The shuttle to the beach is good. At peak times there is not enough capacity and its a shame not to have it run into the evening. However, its only a 20-25 minute walk.

"Water park is OK, give it a miss otherwise."

2.0

If you like your meals with additional protein in the form or more flies than the year 1346 in Europe, this is the place for you. If you like the lottery of eating meat where the chefs aren't sure whether it's chicken, beef, pork or rat; this is the place for you. If you like having a shower where the water temperature changes between scalding hot to ice cold every 4 seconds; this is the place for you. On top of the satire, the all inclusive drink selection is limited. No straws for kids unless they order a cocktail! There are much nicer hotels in Majorca than this. If you can, give it a miss. This hotel is good for its on site waterpark, that's all.

They charge you €1 per towel to change it with a clean one! Yes, that’s right, you want clean towels? You must pay for the luxury of hygiene at this hotel!

"Great place for children and families"

8.0

Just had a fab week here. Clean, food amazing and loads to do for children. People do reserve sun beds early but still always got some after 10 in the splash park which is fantastic! Free bus to beach and back which is lovely but €36 for 2 beds and an umbrella 😬
