We recently stayed at Boro Buenaventura as a family group and had a mixed experience overall. One thing that disappointed us was that all of the couples in our group received tea and coffee facilities along with complimentary goodies in their rooms, while our family room received none of these extras. It felt unfair and left us feeling overlooked compared to the other guests in our party. The evening entertainment was also quite limited. On one night it consisted of a game of bingo, and most evenings the entertainment finished by around 10pm. The hotel bar was advertised as being open until midnight, but on most nights it was closing around 11pm, which was frustrating for guests who wanted to relax and enjoy a drink later in the evening. We were also disappointed to hear other guests complaining about our two-year-old using a potty, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. That said, there were plenty of positives. The daytime entertainment around the pool was excellent, with lots of activities and something going on throughout the day. The food was great, with a wide variety of choices available at every meal, and there was always something for everyone. The excursions offered were really good and well organised, and the hotel’s location is excellent, being close to shops, bars and other local amenities. Overall, the hotel has some strong points, particularly the food, daytime activities, excursions and location, but improvements are needed in the evening entertainment, bar opening hours and consistency of room amenities.

Location is great with transfers. Atmosphere is great the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very clean and the app is a great way to give you more control over when and what you need doing. Value for me wasn’t an issue but my partner had a different experience as he hated the food and the beer. I didn’t mind the drink but upgrade to all inclusive plus. I wish we had done. Noise level was fine. They keep the families away from the entertainment area of the hotel but having a room next to the entertainment area. Wasn’t an issues for me. The food and its variety, to me and mostly my partner wasn’t the best. Soft drinks fine. Lots to choose from. Alcohol was nice choices, but upgrade to all inclusive plus if you can. 24/7 bar was great. But would be nice to have bottled water in room for brushing teeth and kettle water. Free bus to the beach is great. Bus times fitted all over the hotel and lifts. Taxis not badly priced and plenty available in busy areas. The staff whilst in the dining area. Very clean and efficient. I’d say they was on point, collecting empty glass and dirty plates. Very helpful and polite. Bars and reception very welcoming and cleaners are great.

We have just returned from an amazing week at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is massive. If you have mobility issues or don't like walking, I would recommend requesting a room near the main complex when booking. We were on the 6th floor, right out of the way, which turned out to be a blessing as it was very peaceful. I couldn't quite justify giving this hotel 5 stars, mainly because the evening entertainment was poor and the food was below par. However, despite these shortcomings, it was still an amazing holiday. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis and, as with many Spanish resorts, local spirits, beers, and wines were included, while premium brands were available at an extra charge. There was never any issue getting a sunbed. However, if you wanted one of the premium loungers by the pool, you needed to get up early as some guests would queue to reserve them with their towels. Towards the end of our holiday, though, the hotel team started clamping down on this and removed towels from loungers that had been left unattended for several hours. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile and a cheerful "Hola". The rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed every day, and the accommodation was modern and well-maintained. I was really impressed with the quality of the rooms. The pool area was clean, and there was no smoking around the pool or throughout most of the hotel grounds. Designated smoking areas were provided for those who wished to smoke. Overall, a brilliant hotel and a brilliant holiday.

We had the best time here. Plenty to do, brilliant location, brilliant hotel and brilliant friendly helpful staff. Analiet was very kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend
