Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre

Electric was outdated. Could not get CPAP plugged in on the side of the bed I sleep on. Weak remote batteries.

Decking was not very stable on the roof top and the seat cushions wearer removed already. Residents and music were very loud.

Overall the hotel was very good. A couple of problems need to be addressed. First, there is no easy access to your room when you have luggage. Second, our room was very warm even though we turned “off” the heat

Great service, friendly staff. Comfortable but slightly outdated. Bathroom door wouldn't shut and latch. Beautiful scenery, great food.

All doors slammed when closing so we could hear someone leaving their room half way down the hall...all hours of the night not to mention all The walls were paper thin. The TV was so low you had sit on the floor to watch it, the bathroom is far from functional, food service stops at 9pm and if you want to eat in the restaurant you need a reservation. Location and property is beautiful but the rooms function have been neglected

The staff were great. The facility is old and needs a facelift. The cost does not equal the value.

It was a lovely setting, and the food was very good. I used an iron in the room ,for my dress and it spit out water and dirt all over the dress that I was going to wear to a wedding there.So I took the dress to the front desk and they apologized and said they would launder it . They did and it came back in time for the wedding clean and pressed . The staff were very kind and helpful.

The ocean view is beautiful Their pool is sad and the hot tub definitely needs an upgrade
