Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre

The outdoor pool was nice since I had never been there in the warmer months to use it. I appreciated having the outdoor games available as well. I was disappointed with no hot tub though. There was a wedding happening during our stay. While the wedding itself was not disturbing, the guests staying around our room were. It was difficult to sleep with doors banging, loud chatter in the hallways and door ways.

The property was very nice with extremely friendly staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that hat our stay was enjoyable. My only negative comment is that our room which was considered a King bed with ocean view, really wasn’t, as the view was severely inhibited by trees. All in all though we definitely appreciated our time at Oak Island resort.

The resort is great for its pools and on site restaurant, i don’t think it was worth the price for a night.

Overall very happy with accommadation. Some wear and tear showing in room. Bathroom door was damaged on the inside by what appears a dog being left in there at one point. Door should be repainted. Bathroom otherwise was very clean and had been updated. Room was very nice and bed comfortable. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Would definately stay at Oak Island Resort again.

The front lobby staff were excellent. The common areas were nice.

The restaurant service was horrible. And the menu has changed so I wouldnt even recommend eating there now.

There was lots to do to keep the entire family entertained. Loved the games room and the nightly live entertainment. Rooms were a bit dated, but amenities outweighed the room condition.

We stayed 2 nights at this resort. Great location and so near Oak Island! Salty Dog Sea Tours leaves right from marina out front--awesome tour of Mahone Bay/Oak Island. Saturday evening campfire with wonderful story teller/historian from Friends of Oak Island Society. Nice being able to use fishing gear at marina. Room was clean and quiet, good shower. Our son loved the pool, and the water temp was comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. The outdoor amenities were disappointing. Tennis courts were unavailable, basketball hoops nonexistent. The snack bar near the pool was not set up. Mini golf was fun but needs an update. Restaurant meals were pricey, and breakfast buffet was not fresh.

Overall ok. The staff are all very friendly. Resort area itself is beautiful with good amenities.
