Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre

Good location, good view, showing signs of aging. Paint schemes are very boring, almost depressing, e.g. white walls, white doors, white ceilings, institutional like. Checking and lounge area quite ok.

Beautiful ocean view and surroundings. Hotel is older and dated. Poor internet, if you want premium internet there is an extra fee which is unreasonable and should be included for the price of the room. Good food and a relaxing place to visit. Front desk staff are wonderful.

It is not far to travel from Halifax. Missed the hot tub.

Ocean front, marina, live music, lots of activities. The boat tour around oak island was great!

It really needs some work done. The toilets and sinks were stained. For a resort it wasn’t as nice as it should be

Good location. Overall tired and worn out facility. Needs updating. Some rooms overlooking bog and others the ocean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff was very warm and friendly, live local musicians, entertainment every night was great

The grounds were very nice, however the hotel itself is very dated and old. The walls are incredibly thin and you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. The website also says there is a hot tub and there is not.

I liked the view and the Marina. I felt the beds were very uncomfortable. Four of us shared a room, and we all had the same complaint.

The landscape and view are beautiful, very well kept property.
