La Quinta by Wyndham Kerrville

We travel about five months of the year and stay at hotels in a lot of different places. When we make bookings our minimum requirements are refrigerator, microwave, guest laundry, free breakfast and free in room WiFi. At time of booking, you don't know how these things are going to work out until you actually stay at the property. Additionally, you don't know how other things like cleanliness and sleep quality are going to turn out. This property met our basic booking requirements. We found our room to be clean and comfortable. Everything worked. We got a good night's sleep because the room was quiet. What made this stay better than most was a nice hot breakfast with eggs and sausage patties along with all the usual carbohydrate laden selections. We will stay here again.

The rooms smelled. My first room #225 smelled very bad, urine smell as soon as door opened and worse as you got closer to the bed. I had to ask for room change. Next room was better but had slight smell still. Facility is dated for sure

The only thing that was good was the hotels location.

When I arrived for breakfast at 7:30 the coffee pots were empty. The egg pan was empty. These were all I wanted and I had to wait for 15 min. The sheets on the bed were very old and didn't fit the bed. The mattress pad was all bunched up. The pillows were old shredded lumpy pieces of foam. The auto alarm clock went off at 5:30 am set by the last guest. The exterior back door which we used to access our car often did not shut to be locked. Anyone could just walk right in.

Breakfast was delicious. They had a little of everything. Breakfast was also warm when served.

Mattress was due for replacement. Breakfast was okay and the same each morning. Rooms could/should be cleaner

Very well kept and close to places to eat. The room accommodations were great. Would recommend others to stay there.

Pool cold and hot tub not hot. Hot tub jets didn’t work only one jet at very bottom release water. Pool area needs overhaul. Interesting I saw a review from two weeks ago with same issue and management said they would repair…they didn’t. That was reason I picked this hotel …😔. The carpets were stained and dirty in hallways. The room keys had to be reset 3 times. The room doors didn’t close tight. The beds were hard but pillows nice. The bathroom floor was wet and all the clean towels felt damp???

Close location for daughter’s graduation. My grandson loved the indoor pool.

A/C was leaking which left the floor soaked near the area.
