Els matalassos estaven deformats i els coixins amb bonys. En tot l’hotel es fuma menys al restaurant. A la sortida dels ascensors hi han cendrés i la gent fuma. A la piscina no es compleix cap norma d’higiene, tothom es banya sense dutxar-se, la gent entra amb les sabatilles d’aigua a la piscina, juguen nens i adults a pilota que no pots no entrar per por que et tirin la pilota de beisbol a sobre, esta ple de tot tipus d’inflables,…

We spent a week at the Coral Los Alisios in a one-bedroom self-catering apartment. It's a relatively small complex, uphill from the beach and harbour of Los Cristianos, approx 15-20 min walk. Taxis from the beach front to the hotel cost less than 5 euros. The hotel and it's environs were kept spotlessly clean, with a daily room service if required. Our apartment consisted of a spacious open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining room, with a small but adequate bedroom with lots of storage space, and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen was well-equipped for a short-term stay with a 2 ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fridge. A good range of pots and pans, and decent crockery and cutlery; again, everything was spotlessly clean and in good condition. There was a flat-screen TV in the lounge and we were able to get BBC channels. We had a large balcony overlooking the pool - plenty of room with a table and four chairs, and two armchairs and 2 soft pouffes. We opted for breakfast and this was served in the restaurant, buffet style. There were lots of options for the usual cooked breakfast and cold meats, with a lovely selection of fresh fruit and pastries. We also had a few snacks from the pool bar, well cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and helpful and very industrious. We deliberately booked our stay for after the school Easter holidays, but were disappointed to find the pool area terrorised by a number of British children who were determined to be as noisy and boisterous as possible, for as long as possible. Obviously it's cheaper to pay the fines at school for taking them on holiday out of term time than to pay the hiked prices for the school holidays. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of bars and restaurants if you didn't want to walk all the way to the front. Overall, the hotel deserved it's 3+ star rating, and would be a good base for a family.

Our room was clearly not cleaned upon arrival, with visible dirt and blonde hair throughout (we both have dark hair). This is unacceptable and immediately made us uncomfortable. We were told our takeaway would be ready in 30 minutes and that timing was important, yet it was delivered approximately 30 minutes late. This lack of coordination reflects poor service. More seriously, the food quality was unacceptable. The burger, fries, and condiments appeared spoiled. The ketchup smelled and tasted rotten despite a valid expiry date, and the avocado in the burger was clearly bad. This is not just disappointing. It is unacceptable from a hygiene and safety standpoint. We could not eat the meal. The pizza was also of very poor quality. We reported the cleanliness issue the following morning and were told it would be handled immediately. Instead, we waited around 30 minutes, and even after cleaning, the room was still not properly cleaned. Overall, this stay was deeply disappointing. The lack of basic cleanliness, poor food quality, and inconsistent service fall far below any acceptable standard. Based on this experience, we will not return.

Great room on the top floor and the house maids were excellent

Great place to stay. Huge rooms with everything we needed. As cyclists the location was perfect and the hotel bar was superb for post ride refreshments. All the staff were very polite and attentive. No problems at all. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was great. The apartment was well fitted out, clean and tidy. All the staff were very nice and the complex was well looked after. We didn't really use the hotel much as self catering and out and about but we had a lovely time there. It was good value for money and I would recommend for couples and families. It's a fair walk from the beach but we love to walk so not a problem for us.
