Cavendish Hotel

It’s in the pier everything you need is in walking distance .

The breakfast was shocking.. we paid 20.00 for breakfast and we ended up with no breakfast cos we couldn’t eat it . It was over cooked chewy and cold.

It was on the front

It was very old and tied like going back in the 1920’s dinner was not upto standard very bland staff not really happy faces did not get my room cleaned the next day

Breakfast was nice,but could have been hotter. The room was very comfortable, very clean. Lovely seafront view. The staff were lovely.

The bathroom needs an update, looking rather tired. We were under the impression that we could have got a light lunch at the hotel, ie a sandwich at the bar. This was not the case. On line says different.

Great location, comfortable bedroom, nice bathroom. Big bed with comfortable mattress. Fridge and TV decent. Kettle with teas and coffees available. Towels provided.

For the amount of money, the view could have been better (room located at the back of the building).

I recently stayed at your hotel with a close friend and would like to share some feedback about our experience. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in an excellent location, the room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the reception team were welcoming, professional, and very helpful throughout our visit.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience at breakfast on our second morning. When we arrived at the restaurant, we politely asked whether we could be seated at one of the sea-view tables for two. We were informed by a member of staff that all of the sea-view tables were reserved which was acceptable. However, shortly afterwards, we observed two other couples arriving. The same staff member moved and rearranged tables to create sea-view seating for them. This left us confused and disappointed, as we had specifically requested a similar table and had been told none were available.While there may have been reasons for this decision that we were not aware of, the situation made us feel excluded and treated differently. As two brown guests, it was difficult not to question whether we had been given the same level of consideration as the other guests, who were white. I want to be clear that I am not making an accusation, but I felt it was important to share how the experience came across from our perspective. What made this particularly disappointing was that the rest of our stay had been so positive. I hope you will review this incident with your restaurant team and ensure that all guests are treated consistently and fairly. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I hope it will be useful in helping maintain the high standards that were evident in other aspects of the hotel.

The Cavendish hotel has gone down a lot . We have stayed there quite a few times .

We booked a sea view room . We received a corner room with only a small view . Also when we had a shower the water leaked all over the bathroom so we at to clean it up as the shower curtain was to short . I mention it to the cleaning lady she said she will put another curtain on but again the shower curtain did not help again we at to clean up all the water . Then to top it we booked an evening meal on Tuesday night meal time was 6.45 to 7.45 when we arrived at 7.25 we were rudely told that we only have 15 minutes to eat our meal as they shut at 7.45 I stated why the lady told us we were a bit late and the restaurant shuts . Also after looking at the time I asked for our money back and she said you can’t do that . So we were told to sit on table 7 and help your self to the dinner .
