Wilburton Inn

This was my first time at The Wilburton Inn. It’s a must do. This was a birthday present to myself. The stay was awesome. Melissa and her staff are such great host. The way it comes together with everyone at the Inn is like a big family gathering. You are treated like family and the other guest it’s like you’ve known them for years. Melissa had great history and stories that you could listen to her for hours. I really don’t have the correct words on how to express the love and friendliness, even my dog loved it there. To him he felt like he was at home. The buffet breakfast is great also. Looking forward to our next trip there. Can’t wait. Thank you all. Elsie and Malcolm

Our family of 28 spent four unforgettable days at this Vermont inn, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Melissa, the inn keeper greeted us with warmth, hospitality, and true New England charm. The inn handled our large group effortlessly. Every room was clean and cozy and the common spaces were perfect for gathering, relaxing and simply enjoying time together. The kitchen was a fully stocked kitchen where we were able to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner and other meals effortlessly. The setting itself was stunning with peaceful mountain views, crisp Vermont air and plenty of space for all ages to unwind and explore. Part of our group enjoyed the indoor pool while others shopped in Manchester. The grounds of the inn were perfect for exploring and getting some hiking in. It's rare to find a place that feels both wonderfully spacious and genuinely homey, but the Wilburton Inn managed it beautifully. Our entire family left with full hearts, great memories and a unanimous desire to return. We can't recommend it highly enough!

I led a yoga retreat at the Mansion for the first time in Nov 2024. We all loved it so much that we booked again for Nov 2025 except we added a 3 rd night. We again had a wonderful experience so we are booked again for Nov 2026. I brought 18 women and 2 other leaders with me on this retreat and there was plenty of space for all and everything. The ballroom is perfect for yoga and Qi gong. The living room was wonderful for meetings (plenty of seating), music and hanging out. The dining room accomodated us all for meals.. A wonderful spot for leading a retreat. Melissa is a pleasure to deal with and they were very responsive to questions. No complaints!!!!

We had 7 long time girlfriends spend a 3 day weekend last week at the “Reunion” House on this beautiful Wilburton Inn property in Manchester, VT. The house was spacious with great sitting area and two large dining tables. We cooked in, ate out, shopped, visited the Equinox Spa and enjoyed each other’s company all weekend. Staff was very helpful with any questions we had and pricing very reasonable! Hoping to return soon!

Thank you to the amazing Levis family for a memorable Mystery Weekend at the Wilburton. The hospitality can't be beat, the vibe is warm, creative, and unpretentious luxury, and dogs are welcomed (even encouraged!). And to top it off, I didn't feel the need to look at my phone all weekend. Can't wait to come back!

We went for Mystery Weekend- I should say returning for another magical musical friendly experience! Lots of laughs and beauty everywhere! Thank you Melissa, family and staff! The actors and musicians were all friendly and super nice- the mansion is elegant and dog friendly!

This was such a beautiful, peaceful place to relax. My husband and I spent the week exploring the amazing countryside and then returned to a wonderfully quiet, comfortable place to spend our evenings. Would do it again in a heartbeat!!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Wilburton Inn. The property is absolutely beautiful and the main house is so grand and full of character. It’s worth walking through all by itself. We stayed in the Presidential Suite in the Equinox View Villas, which offered the perfect amount of privacy and comfort for a few relaxing days away. The mountain views and peaceful surroundings were outstanding …we wanted a few chill days to just sit and soak in the fall leaves and scenery. We picked the perfect spot right outside our door…could have sat there for weeks just taking it all in. Melissa and the entire team were excellent hosts…..warm, welcoming, and very accommodating, especially when we asked to extend our stay for an extra night. Every detail made us feel cared for. We can’t wait to return to this truly special place!

My family rented two vacation houses at the Wilburton for our large extended family of 25 — I knew very little about the property before we arrived, so we were taken aback by the sprawling turn-of-the-century mansion and spectacular mountain views as we drove up the driveway. We absolutely never expected the art installations across the grounds — including 18 x 26-foot Egyptian statues! The art and decor were eclectic and unexpected, and I found them very intriguing. It’s definitely not your traditional resort, but that’s what we liked about it. And the statues made for an amazing night with smores by the fire pit! The Reunion House was spacious — we particularly enjoyed the living room, as it gave us enough room to comfortably host the other half of our family (about 25 of us) for a casual birthday party. There was plenty of seating with cozy leather sectionals and two large dining tables that seated about 8-10 people each. My daughter loved playing the piano in the living room, and the rooms downstairs with the daybeds were a great place for the kids to hang out and watch TV together. (The galley kitchen is a little small, but we were aware of this ahead of time because it was mentioned on their website.) We were there during a massive heat wave and all the air conditioners worked very well and kept us cool. Our kids loved the volley ball/badminton area steps away from our house. The outdoor pool is beautiful and it was so wonderful to be able to gather there easily with our whole family. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed looking around the mansion as well. There was so much do to in nearby Manchester — great restaurants and shops, the bookstore is fantastic. We also enjoyed the ropes course and alpine slide at Bromley Mountain. We can’t wait to return next year — we’ll be staying at one of the other properties even closer to my extended family’s rental house and I’m so excited for its private balconies, jacuzzi tubs, and even more beautiful mountain views!
