Wilburton Inn

Wilburton is no corporate hotel experience. It's gorgeous, unique and comprised of multiple lodging options on a property surrounded by the green mountains and dotted with whimsical, artistic outdoor sculptures. Our room was dominated by an impressive four poster bed that was super comfortable with a view of the mountains. We loved the traditional and quirky decor that made the room feel like an experience rather than just a place to sleep at night. There is a small fridge and keurig coffee machine, several comfortable chairs to read while looking outside and soft oriental area rugs scattered on the hardwood floors. The icing on the cake of this magical stay was meeting the owners! Dr. Albert Levis and his wife Georgette bought the property almost 40 years ago and it's now run primarily by his daughter Melissa with support from her 3 siblings. We had the wonderful opportunity to speak at length with "Albert" who has written extensively about his Formal Theory of Behavior and about the museum, research institute and new "airport" conference and retreat center he has created to disseminate and educate others about his theories. Fascinating man. And his daughter Melissa is so lovely and generous in spirit as well. We felt so welcome! The Wilburton Inn is a magical experience that we look forward to repeating.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Wilburton Inn. It’s an absolutely lovely vacation spot and there’s so much to do for family members of all ages. The crystal clear pool was the biggest hit with the youngsters but hiking, playing badminton/volleyball, and enjoying our beautiful house helped us create fantastic memories which will last a lifetime. Loved staying at the Wilburton in a little house across from the main house. Room was CLEAN and spacious With a huge dressing room and bathroom. Loved sitting at the table on my little patio with my coffee and looking out at the mountains. Concert at Earth, Sky, Time farm on Sunday evening was a highlight! Incredible good vibes!

Amazing place! Truly a gem! Place was so beautiful! Loved walking the grounds and taking a dip in the pool. Room was super clean. Dog friendly! Mountain Views were spectacular! Melissa the Inn Keeper was so welcoming we felt right at home. Close to many attractions and town.

We had a very relaxing stay. The room was spacious and very clean. The view of the mountains from our room was spectacular. The pool was clean and well maintained as was the rest of the property. Our bed was very comfortable and we had soft large pillows to help us fall asleep fast. A beautiful place to stay. We will be back.

Had a wonderful stay with our dog Ace at the Wilburton! Our hosts Melissa and Meesha welcomed us to this special place! Our room was cozy and comfy with an awesome view! The property is a unique and art filled landscaped wonder. The location is special because it’s close to the town of Manchester which has great places to eat plus a fun dog park where we went every day. We will be back!

My family and I rented the reunion house for a weekend so we could all spend time together with my grandfather who has terminal cancer - the host and home exceeded all expectations! It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had plenty of outdoor activities for all ages (tennis, cornhole, pool, ping pong, life size chess, etc.) The host was responsive, kind, accommodating, and compassionate about our circumstances. I highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a space for a large group of people and hope to return in the future!

We had the most unforgettable Mother’s Day 2025 weekend at the Doggie Slumber PAW-ty hosted by the beautiful Wilburton Inn in Manchester, Vermont! From start to finish, the entire experience was full of charm, hospitality, and tail-wagging fun. The weekend kicked off with a delightful Welcome Paw-ty, where guests (both two-legged and four-legged) were treated to a wonderful spread of local Vermont wine and cheese. It was the perfect way to unwind and connect with fellow dog lovers in a stunning mountain setting. Each morning, we were invited to bring our pups along to a delicious Vermont Country Breakfast—the food was fantastic, with fresh, local ingredients and cozy ambiance, and the dogs loved being part of the experience. One of the highlights was the group doggie stroll around the picturesque grounds and nearby trails. It was a great opportunity to take in the fresh spring air, meet new friends, and let the dogs enjoy the outdoors. The accommodations were absolutely top-notch—comfortable, charming, and very pet-friendly. The Wilburton Inn strikes a perfect balance between elegance and warmth, making both guests and their dogs feel completely at home. If you’re looking for a unique and heartwarming way to celebrate Mother's Day with your furry family members, I can’t recommend the Wilburton Inn’s Doggie Slumber PAW-ty enough. We’ll definitely be back next year!

I’ve been coming to Manchester for years and nothing compares to my stay at The Wilburton! It was simply magical! The estate feels like a storybook come to life. The views are amazing, and the artwork gives the property so much character. My mom and I stayed in the Equinox Views Villa. I loved the jacuzzi and deck facing Equinox mountain. I can't believe the town is so close but this property feels like stepping in to another world. I loved meeting the little dog Jetson who greeted me. Next time I'll bring my dog too! I will definitely come back.

We’ve been visiting Manchester for years, and have stayed at many excellent places. The Wilburton is unlike any other. Its location is private, incredibly quiet and absolutely beautiful. Unusual and compelling works of art are all around, creating a most unique environment. Our room was the perfect retreat - clean, comfortable, spacious, and decorated as if it were a personal home. It also offered dinnerware, small fridge, microwave and a sink area for cleaning up any of the provided dishes etc. we used. I am always a little thrown by the current trend of all electronic communication but the Wilburton has perfected it. We received timely texts and emails about our room, check in, updates, lots of useful information about the area, and assurances someone was always available if needed. We had no need, as everything we wanted was provided. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommend if you want something special!
