The bed was clean and the staff was helpful But the curtain in the bedroom needs to be upgraded, seems as if it was there for ever. The floor of the shower and the curtain need to be redone, the toilet needs to be changed. The breakfast was good, I like the pate and the coffee.

Reviews are important to read that way you will not have surprises! I went knowing what I might expect, but I don't expect what I find ... The Hotel at the time had to be impressive but it is only a vestige of an era. The room was small and rundown but clean, the bathroom is small, the shower tiles were missing, but had hot water and with good pressure and it was clean. the room was cleaned daily. If you are American carries a power converter to recharge your cell since connections are European. The WIFI is free but must be asking daily password and only works in the lobby or on the second floor. It does not have private parking, but on the street is safe As I said, if you know in advance, you have no surprises

The hotel is perfectly located for those coming in to Point a Pitre on the ferry. A short walk to Place de la Victoire, staff who helped with planning travel arrangements. Good value for money.

The hotel is OK and the room was clean but small. It had a great view of the bay. The biggest problem is that you cannot control the temperature on the ac, it is either on or off. The staff specially Valerie were very kind and helpful.

Doing overnight to catch a flight. Staff was friendly, English not great, but they tried very hard to help. Room clean. Neighborhood sketchy, hard to find dinner.

Very bad hotel no servec room very very bad nothing to say

We arrived late at night and there was no lighting. The streets looked like hoodlum-ville. We had one of us at the cars at all times. The outside appeared like the Bates Motel in the movie and we were worried about the inside. We got our room keys and we went to check out the rooms. The elevator smelled like pee and beer, the rooms were bare and the beds were just a mattress. The bathroom did not look clean and smelled like stale pee. There were no lights in the hall to the rooms and it made me feel like I could be attacked and no one would know. The outside had trash piled around and smelled to high Heaven. We turned our keys back in and found another place. When we complained to Expedia, the hotel personnel lied and said we did stay, when, in fact, we did not.... So... no money back...

First of all your taxi can't drop you at the front of the building because the parking areas is locked off unless you pay to enter. Then they had not received notification of my booking so I had to charge my phone (that had died) to get the expedia email to show the reception. Admittedly, however, I booked only a few hours before I got to the hotel so this I totally excuse. The bathroom did not appear clean and I did not trust the toilet seat. The sheets and towels seemed perfectly clean though and I had no qualms about using them. The air condition made a humming noise but it was a steady noise that I easily got used to and so it didn't hinder or disturb my sleep at all. I had booked room and breakfast but the next morning I was told by the reception that I was not entitled to breakfast because they had stopped offering this package and expedia should not have sold me a package including breakfast!!! He didn't seem to understand that if I had paid for breakfast he had to give me breakfast. However, I expressed my disappointment with the hotel's position on this, and to appease me, he offered me a cup of coffee, which I took. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone but to say that it's incredibly close to the ferry terminal, so for one night, you might be able to stomach the overpriced under maintained room. One good thing - there's a regular sized elevator.

Good for one night, very close to the cruise ships, walking distance. Expensive for 2 star hotel, but normal for Guadeloupe. Maybe the only choice in Point a Pittre.
