"Conveniently close to ferry"

4.0

The only merit it has is that it is near the ferry. It is run-down & dark. But serves the purpose of catching an early ferry.

"Less than fair hotel"

4.0

The staff were all pleasant and spoke English reasonably well, and the bed was comfortable. However, those are the only good things I can say. First, there was no hot water in our room. A couple we met at dinner said they had no hot water either. The room appeared clean, but was dingy. The TV did not work. If I had been alone, I would not have felt safe. Plus I left with a bug bite on my neck.

"Desperate for a room near airport is the reason."

Overnight is maximum time to stay here. Room was miniscule and third worldly. However breakfast very complete.

"Basic Overnight Stay"

4.0

The location was close to shops and restaurants, although many restaurants were closed around 6 pm. The room was large (1 queen and 2 twins) but the shower was small and had low water pressure. My room was on the 4th floor and wi-fi didn't reach. The A/C was not controlled but it worked. There was some street noise and from the marina. One of the twin beds was broken and squeaked every time you moved. The breakfast was decent. Check-in was at noon but room wasn't ready until 1 pm. The 2 onsite restaurants had a limited menu. Staff was helpful. Overall, a cheap place to stay downtown but would not recommend.

"Gonna catch the Ferry?"

2.0

Well it's a hotel in Point a Pitre. Maybe the only one. Needed to stay one night to catch the ferry next day and it was convenient. Standard comes with the price. Really worn out and the rooms are from 80s or something, but clean. Service in english, that was nice.

"Hotel in a city that has little going for it"

4.0

It may not be the hotel - it maybe the entire city that looks and feels as if it is in the midst of collapse. At least the hotel had hot water and a lot of security cameras- a lot. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the tv was very small... But breakfast was included - we did not eat but it smelled great.

"Perfectly fine for a short stay"

6.0

We found the price/quality ratio of this hotel to be perfectly fine. Yes, the room was quite small, but clean and functional. Nice to have a small balcony, even though a shared one. The breakfast was quite abundant with eggs, ham, toast, pastries, yogurt, fruit etc... The place is a short walking distance from the main square, the big new museum on slavery and the ferry port (10-15 min). The reception staff were friendly, so nothing to complain about with these prices!
