Riad Sidrat Fes

Très beau riad, parfaitement rénové en 2018. très bien entretenu, avec gout. Très calme, bien que très proche des artères principales. Personnel adorable, aux petits soins. Chambre simple mais belle , la salle de bain privative était séparée, mais à 2m. pas un soucis , mais bon à savoir. Petit déjeuner gargantuesque.

pas grand chose. Une lampe de chevet qui ne fonctionnait pas . le jus d'orange du petit déj aurait pu être pressé et non de la bouteille.

This is a stunning riad. The attention to detail is incredible and the building will literally take your breath away when you enter. The rooms are incredibly beautiful, spacious, and generous. The host, and the staff, were amazing. Very welcoming, happy, smiling, and chatty. We will actually miss them!

Very little! 2 things, the beds were getting a bit hard by the end, but we were here for 4 nights! And the breakfast got a little repetitive.. but always delicious, we could’ve walked the 20 metres to another breakfast spot but we just loved chatting to Meriem and her lovely staff.

Staff were extremely attentive, kind, warm, and welcoming. My travel partner ended up with some stomach issues from a different restaurant, and the staff personally walked us to a pharmacy, helped arrange alternative transport after missing our bus, and bought her some remedies themselves. They were very helpful with their recommendations, and the service was excellent. Big shoutout to Miriam, Mohammed, and Mohammed! They were all so kind and friendly. Mohammed even invited us to break fast with his family during the Eid holiday! Truly felt like family. The facilities were also gorgeous with intricate detail and artistic design. Very comfortable room and comfortable bed/blankets, very spacious. Rooftop terrace was gorgeous. Location was great, walkable to all the highlights in the medina and more. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful Riad in an excellent location, staffed by the kindest and most helpful people. Great breakfast that fills you up for the day.

Nothing! The Riad was perfect. What perhaps could have been better is the guided tour. This is separate from the Riad but was kindly arranged through the reception. The tour guide didn't give much information about old Fes (only when asked) and proceeded to take us on a hustle circuit. This was basically a whip round an argan oil cooperative (dubious as to if it actually helps the women who work there), a carpet seller and a leather dealer above the tannery. There was a very hard sell at each stop. The five hour tour also only lasted 4 hours so really was not the best. This has nothing to do with the Riad though, I want to highlight that they are not responsible for the quality of the tours they arrange. Alternatively, exploring the Dar Batha Museum of Islamic Art was much more informative, relaxing and with no hustle. I cannot recommend this museum enough in place of a guided tour.

Behulpzame en gastvrije mensen: zo wil je het. Ontbijt royaal en lekker. Riad zelf is prachtig
