Falling Leaves Lodge

Great place to stay in San Ignacio. Very peaceful and natural (except the leaf blower running a lot). They are almost finished with new pool. The front desk staff, Miss Paula, is the best! She arranged awesome tours and massage and was super patient. Really liked the regular cabana we had. Good restaurant on site. Up a steep hill but taxis always available. I would totally stay there again if in that area.

Fantastic place to stay. Paula takes care of all the details, and ensures you have a trouble free stay. Excellent room with what is required. Wonderful restaurant, with good menu selections from top to bottom. New pool just opened. Next door to Mayan Cahel Pech. Great views.

Outstanding location, friendly people, excellent restaurant. Everyone did their best to make her stay enjoyable maybe the best restaurant in town.

Fantastic place for birds and birding!

This is a really great place to stay in San Ignacio. First, Miss Paula at the front desk is a wonder.... helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable and very patient and professional. She really made our stay extra special. The grounds are natural and just cool. I recommend the regular cabanas, we had Cab 4. Good restaurant. Had an excellent massage there!! The tours Paula arranged were excellent. If you don't want to walk way down or up to town get a taxi, easy. This place is out of the noisy (& kind of dirty) town. There are a couple bars as you walk back up so take a break!

This place is awesome. Cahal Pech is literally next door, and is honestly an underrated Mayan site. There are good restaurants nearby, not to mention the delicious food at the on-site restaurant. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Also lots of wildlife on property! When we stayed the pool wasn’t done, but it was almost done and they said would be open soon.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Right next door to the archaeological park and museum.

Property was nice and the room big and clearn

Stayed for five nights while exploring the Cayo area and so pleased we chose Falling Leaves! Right from check in and throughout our stay the service was excellent - staff very responsive and willing to help with any request. Restaurant had delicious food; the grounds are meticulously kept; the room was very comfortable. Location is uphill from town which is nice and quiet, and gives you twenty minutes to work off any extra calories if you make the trip on foot; taxi is only 5 USD otherwise. Many thanks to Paula and the team for making our stay so wonderful!

No complaints! Superb service, comfy beds and rooms, beautiful grounds, spectacular food. I don’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Paula will make you feel special and taken care of. Thank you so much for a great experience.
