Falling Leaves Lodge

Property is huge with many trees and plants. Pool is beautiful and there was construction on new building for changing and bathrooms Room was adequate but door to room was ill fitting and did not seem safe. Paula was a shining star in the front office and took great care of us.

This is a lovely place on top of the hills. The pool is new and inviting, especially during the scorcher of a spring this year! Ms. Paula and crew are so friendly and helpful. It was a quiet-no road noise, just the occasional monkey dropping things on the roof at night😊. The ac worked well and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant was delicious, great breakfast and dinners. Just be aware, it is at the top of the hill-a steep long hill to walk up-taxis are available though! The place next door (cahal pech village resort) also has a nice pool and bar you can use for a small fee, for a change of pace)

property is in the midst of being renovated, alot of unsafe areas. staff was great, Paula was so nice and helpful as was Kevin. shower could use attention, mold in some areas.

Wonderfull property Paula was great from arranging transpertation and excursions to having chef prepare soup for my wife when she was I’ll. She is a delight

Falling Leaves was exactly what I needed! It is nestled on the hill next to a Mayan ruin that you can check out. It was beautiful and quiet. The restaurant inside had delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Paula is incredible and made sure to take care of me while I was there. If I needed transportation for a tour, she got it for me. I felt so spoiled while I was there. I would recommend this gem and will come back! Thank you Paula and staff!!

Property was very beautiful and pool was very nice (but under construction). Very close to ancient Mayan ruins that are worth checking out. Construction of the units is not the best but the property is lovely and Paula is a true gem and massive asset to the resort.

Cute hotel with great service! Very clean rooms and excellent, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds with wildlife and nice new pool. Staff went out of their way to get us ready for our tours and even provided big spray one day when we forgot ours.

We stayed in a regular cabana here and had the best time! Paula is amazing and made sure we had a great stay. It is clean, quiet, and beautiful on the grounds, the pool is refreshing and newly finished, and the restaurant had really good food. Totally recommend!

This is the second stay for me and I absolutely love Falling Leaves Lodge. The entire staff treat you like you’ve been a long time friend. The property is beautiful and set on a hill so at night while eating dinner you have a view of the lights of San Ignacio. The food is fabulous! They’ve just put in a beautiful large pool which is the perfect way to cool down and relax from your day. The rooms are perfect and clean with air conditioning and nice showers. I’m a stomach sleeper so the bed was a little hard but still very doable and had plenty of comfortable pillows. This place is my favorite!

Up in the hills a short drive from downtown San Ignacio, next to Cahel Pech ruins...what a quiet spot to relax after a day checking out Tikal, etc. Our room was a bit basic, but very clean and quiet. The pool had just opened and was a very nice addition! But the best part of our stay was Paula who was always available to help...and the wonderful restaurant! We ate dinner and breakfast there every day of our trip to San Ignacio. On the days with early tour pick ups, we ordered breakfast the night before and it was ready to eat when we got to the restaurant. Do not miss the Almond Fish - it is outstanding! It was the best fish dish we had the entire trip!!!
