I just returned home from a fantastic vacation at this hotel with my two young kids, and we loved it so much that we even considered extending our stay! Location: The hotel is conveniently located just about 10 minutes from the airport, costing around €20 for a taxi. It's also a short distance to the beach, surrounded by numerous restaurants, spas, and supermarkets. Room: Our room was spacious and clean, thanks to the hard-working staff who maintain the cleanliness of both the rooms and the hotel environment. We received a kettle for our little one, and I think it would be a nice touch if this were complimentary for all rooms to enhance the overall guest experience. Food and Drinks: The food was truly outstanding, earning the hotel a 5-star rating for its amazing buffet. I had no worries about hygiene, as everything was thoroughly cooked. With such a wide variety of dishes, I think I may have gained a few pounds — so pack some larger clothes because you might find it hard to resist! The themed restaurant nights were delightful, and receiving roses one evening was a lovely touch. The desserts were simply divine, and I have no complaints about the food whatsoever. The drinks were fresh and delicious, with my favorites being the virgin mojito and pineapple smoothie. A big shoutout to the team and the fantastic bar staff — we were never thirsty! Entertainment: We never missed the mini disco, which really caught my son's attention. The entertainers did a fantastic job keeping us all entertained, and there were plenty of activities available. The newly refurbished playground and star camp was a hit with the kids, so be sure to download the app to keep track of all the happenings. Staff: The staff were proactive, friendly, diligent, and always greeted us with a smile. We felt right at home. If any issues arise, please allow them the chance to resolve it; they truly care about ensuring everyone has a wonderful holiday. One suggestion I have is to update the decor of the rooms and common areas to match the high quality of service provided. This hotel has the potential to easily earn a 5-star rating. I usually don’t revisit hotels, but I would gladly make an exception for Iberostar Waves Christina if I return to Mallorca. I recommend this hotel for families with young kids.

4 star hotel in great location and just one street back from the beach. Nice public areas, pool, and plenty of seats and sun loungers Given glass of cava and chocolates at check-in, which is a nice touch. You are given a wrist band with a disc which is used to enter your room and to check in to dining room, order drinks etc. Good choice at breakfast. we decided not to have dinner as I'm not a fan of a buffet. You can opt for b&b, half board or all inclusive (but there is a limit on the number alcoholic drinks you are permitted) There are a number of daily activities organised by the events team, and a show every night, which was actually and surprisingly good. They also organise various sports and fitness classes - spinning, yoga etc and there are 3 padel courts and 2 tennis courts for hire (€20 per hour including bats & balls) Staff all very friendly & efficient. Rooms fairly basic but clean & comfortable and good shower (hairdryer not the best) Lots of activities for families with kids, so there are a lot of families with kids at the hotel, so expect a bit of noise. I feel the hotel could benefit from having maybe a family wing and then a non family area/adults only area. We could hear kids running about out in corridors early in the morning, and the rooms are not very well soundproofed, as could hear neighbours on their balcony too. One huge bug bear for me was all the smokers right outside the front door of the hotel, so you often had to navigate them and walk through clouds of smoke, I feel the smoking area should be away from the front door as it's not very pleasant at all. There is a spa and indoor swimming pool too which we didn't use, and a small gym. All in all, nice hotel, but if I was returning to Palma Beach, I'd probably choose to stay in Selection Playa de Palma across the road, which i think is adults only. Overall we had a really nice stay.

Went as a family with kids (3 and 4), parents and grandparents and absolutely loved it! The hotel and pool was lovely and really well located for the beach and cafes, the food was great and drinks were plentiful! But what really made the stay excellent were the staff who were all so friendly and so helpful and really made us feel welcome. I normally don’t go for the entertainment in hotels but Lucas and the animacion team were so good, we were all joining in! They were also absolutely fantastic with the kids and they always had something to do. We had a perfect holiday and I would definitely recommend it!

COCKROACHES!!!!!! I just woke up in the middle of the night and turned on the bathroom light to a huge cockroach scurrying around the room where my children were sleeping!!! We are leaving in the middle of the night with two small kids. Note, we were transferred to this hotel after staying in another Iberostar and complaining about the conditions there. The other hotel only transferred us after coercing us to sign a disclaimer that we will not post any negative reviews; an illegal and meaningless document. AVOID IBEROSTAR, PERIOD!!!

Great facilities, good food, nice entertainment team. Have been returning there with my kids for years now.

First time at an Iberostar and the Waves Cristina team really do you look after you. I was also quite surprised with the level of activities/entertainment on offer. A clean hotel and the staff really are the people that make this hotel - every single person we encountered just wanted to look after us and were always cheery and happy. A credit to the Iberostar chain! (A special shout out also to the kids club team!)

We liked this property, staff were friendly. Although we didn’t receive the bottle of wine in our room as Expedia said. We also asked for a robe and additional towel and these never came. The pool area was nice, food was good. There are a lot of German guests, not so many English. Very eco friendly which was nice! We liked the little all inclusive extras - ice cream, chocolates, arrival drink etc.

This hotel was fantastic, lovely food, not busy, great service and friendly staff. I massively recommend it and would come back agsin

Lovely hotel. Quiet area with plenty of street parking. Breakfast was comparable to that of a cruise. The beds and pillows were not very comfy, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay in Mallorca.

We had a great trip celebrating a Birthday, Please note that this hotel does not have unlimited alchol as part of the All Inclusive. The manager at the hotel Jhosen is very accomodating. Look out for him. The hotel is clean. The food is delisious with good variety. There is good entertainment at the hotel.
