"9 th holiday with uou all so roll on our 10th"

Well , we said we'd be back sooner rather than later and we were back exactly 6 wks to the day in June ! We had hoped to return September as well but unfortunately we couldn't make it. However we will be back with our family 14 th April and all really looking forward to it. None of us can fault Akra Kemer hotel and obviously all the fantastic staff ! See you all again soon and looking forward 2 another fabulous holiday 😀.

"The Definition of 5-Star Hospitality!"

Six visits in two years says it all! We’ve just returned from our most recent stay, and the magic and quality hasn't faded. • The Service: Professional yet wonderfully friendly. The staff make you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. The best service we have received in 40 years of travel. • Dining: Great buffet restaurant and always something good to eat but the à la carte restaurants are a "must-try"—the quality is next-level. Big shout out to Mevlut and to Faruk, the chefs as they so looked after us and made sure my coeliac wife was well catered for with the food. Oh, and there are Millions of delicious cakes, sooo very many. All this is looked over by some wonderful and thoughtful people. Ismail and Okay looked after us but the waiting staff were also just ace. Every one of them. • The Spa: A total "guilty secret" of ours. The massage therapists are incredible and provide a fantastic 5-star service. The others in the team are also so welcoming and friendly. This is our sanctuary. • Atmosphere: The entertainment crew are so hardworking, talented, and engaging. We have spent many hours chatting with them like they are old friends. A very personal service. Embra leads the team really well and with Tom, Okan, Domfu and the two special new girls, that’s a perfect group of people who kept us entertained. The bar staff are superb, always got a smile and an amazing drink within moments of them seeing us. I can’t include all the names but please pass on our thanks to Feret, Emine, Sulliman and Yaren specifically but the rest of the team too. • Cleanliness: The staff that ensure the room is clean and the garden staff are underrated as they do such a superb job in the background with no fuss and they are true hero’s. Management clearly runs a tight ship with a focus on guest satisfaction. They are constantly checking in to ensure everything is perfect, and the answer is always a resounding "Yes!" We feel like VIPs every time we stay. Thankyou Mr Murat for being there. We also loved the guy in the blue suit from customer relations who was lovely and checked on us frequently. If you’re looking for a flawless holiday, with wonderful people then look no further. We’re already counting down to our seventh visit! We must holiday elsewhere really but we know we will not get this level of service and quality so that’s now a tough one for us. We will be back for sure very soon.

"Lovely!"

The most incredible hotel!! Beautifully laid out, the grounds are gorgeous and the swimming pools didn’t feel busy even in peak summer. You do have to get up early if you want a specific sunbed, but if you’re not fussy then you’ll get one much later. The restaurants are fabulous, it’s so nice being able to eat at as many as you like for free. Our tip is to set an alarm on your phone for when the bookings open, we managed to eat at all of them at least once. We did love the buffet too, there’s lots of choice and it all felt hot and fresh, we liked the themed nights too. Great for families, it’s small enough that it feels safe for your children to have a little wander or to go and grab themselves an icecream or a waffle. The entertainment team were good and there always seemed to be activities, we were not fussed on taking part but they always made us feel welcome. The evening entertainment was very good, though it was so hot at night - take a fan!

"Akra Kemer: What You See in the Videos Is Not What You Get"

2026 mid-term break, we stayed at Akra Kemer for a week with my wife and daughter. I will try to present both the positive and negative aspects; however, it should be stated from the outset that, particularly in terms of expectation management, the experience was a serious disappointment. Before making the reservation, I watched many YouTube videos and carefully reviewed comments on different platforms. Unfortunately, there was a clear discrepancy between what was shown in those videos and what we actually encountered at the hotel. Many of the elements highlighted in promotional materials and social media were simply not available during our stay. To begin with the Başka Ol patisserie section: the pastries offered there were generally not the kind that guests were eager to choose. During our one-week stay we saw the San Sebastian cheesecake only once, and it was gone almost immediately. The various chocolate products frequently shown in promotional videos were not available on any day of our stay. When I asked a staff member about the absence of chocolates on the first day, I was told that the products change daily. In practice, however, this explanation did not reflect reality. Instead of chocolates, Turkish delights—of the kind commonly seen even in second- or third-tier hotels—were offered throughout the week. Judging by the trays, they were rarely touched; apart from a few guests who took them with coffee, most people simply ignored them. The ice cream section showed a similar limitation. There was only one type of packaged ice cream available. Yet in promotional videos and posts from different periods (for example during Christmas) multiple packaged ice cream options were shown. For a hotel positioning itself in the upper segment such as Akra Kemer, introducing such visible restrictions—especially during periods when domestic guests are more prevalent—is rather disappointing. It inevitably raises the question of whether the same level of limitation exists when international guests constitute the majority. A similar restriction was also noticeable in the à la carte restaurant menus. The ribeye steak that had previously been included in the snack menu was not available during our stay. Therefore, if you expect to find exactly what you see in promotional videos when you arrive, you may very well end up disappointed. Another issue concerned capacity management. Considering that the winter season often comes with rainy weather, one would expect the hotel to plan guest capacity accordingly. However, it was quite clear that the hotel was accommodating more guests than its facilities comfortably allow. The most obvious example of this was the parking situation. On several occasions we could not find a place to park our car inside the hotel premises and had to leave it outside the property. For a hotel in this segment, this is hardly acceptable. After sharing these concerns in a Google review, a hotel representative asked to speak with us. Unfortunately, the conversation seemed more like a formality than a genuine attempt to address the issues. When my wife mentioned that despite staying for several days the San Sebastian cheesecake had appeared only once and had run out immediately, the representative said they would speak with the chef and take the necessary steps. However, when he called back later, he told us that we should communicate this request directly to the chef ourselves, which was quite surprising and unprofessional. Redirecting a guest’s feedback back to the guest instead of taking responsibility for it does not reflect a professional approach. Despite all these shortcomings and disappointments, it is fair to note that our children were very happy with the Kids Club. We also found the à la carte restaurants and the main restaurant’s food quality to be generally satisfying. Nevertheless, the clear gap between expectations and reality, along with the noticeable service limitations mentioned above, makes us seriously question whether we would choose this hotel again unless these issues are addressed.

"Amazing….Every Time"

The Wonderful Akra Kemer It’s our 6th time here and 3rd time in 2025, we’ve already booked again for two visits in 2026. We spoke to a couple who are on their 15th visit, my guess is that the return rate of guests probably exceeds 60%. There is a reason for this, quality, friendliness and staff. The entertainments team are an amazing group of people they go all out to make you feel part of the Akra family, each and every one of the team are a credit to themselves and to the hotel. The standard of food is outstanding with exceptional variety, additionally we ate in most of the A Le Carte restaurants, food was absolutely superb. This time we were a group of 3 all in our 60’s and felt right at home. The grounds maintenance staff do a fantastic job keeping the grounds in a lovely, manicured, condition, beautiful colours. We never met a single staff member that wasn’t polite, respectful or engaging. The absolute finest display of Turkish hospitality, we wanted to give special thanks to the following staff but could equally list every member of staff: Emra - Entertainments Chief Tom - Entertainments Team……legend, so funny. Domfu Entertainments Team Sila - Entertainments Team Guna - Entertainments Team Mariana Entertainments Team Enez Entertainments Cahit Ocean restaurant Yasin Olive restaurant Kaan Turkish restaurant Nurcan Hatice Main Restaurant, always recognises us and served us, lovely woman, thank you. Ferit - Bar, great guy, we look for him every time. Recently my two brothers and sister were looking for a decent holiday, no prizes for guessing where we are going? I absolutely know they will enjoy every aspect of the hotel and services offered at the Akra Kemer. 16 March 2026 will be my 7th visit here and I can’t wait! This hotel feels like home to us, thanks for making our holiday very special every time. Teşekkürler Akra

"Wonderful Christmas"

We had a perfect Christmas at the Akra Kemer. The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel facilities and bedrooms were kept very clean. We had everything we wanted in our room. The mini bar was topped up daily and we appreciated the Christmas stocking on our door. We particularly enjoyed the coffee shop which served great drinks and delicious cakes and chocolates. I'd really recommend visiting this hotel. There was plenty to do and we enjoyed the walk into town.

"VIP guests"

I was so impressed with this holiday....best I ever had that I was eager to write my review as soon as I got home, however, life got in the way but now I am going to fulfil my promise to the awesome staff at this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful but it is the staff that make it amazing. I was here with my daughter, Amber, celebrating her 29th birthday and was really hoping the hotel would help me to make it extra special which they did, all working together to make a fabulous experience for us both. Amber has Down Syndrome and is very enthusiastic and so much fun, the team adopted her I think!! If you want to go on a holiday where you are made to feel that you are important then this is the place for you. Everyone went above and beyond so this year we will be back for Amber's 30th.....can't wait :) xx

"This hotel is absolutely amazing"

We have just returned from yet another amazing visit to this hotel. We arrived on 28 December to the usual friendly greeting and beautiful room and great facilities. This year there were five evenings of musical entertainment which started on 30 December, various different styles and all very good, waiter service drinks on each occasion, New Year’s Eve included a gala meal and several different artists. The food was excellent in all of the restaurants and all drinks were International brands. Even though it was wintertime the pool bar was open every day, thank you to the lovely Mehmet and Suleyman who served us with such enthusiasm and charm always remembering what we liked to drink. The staff in the lobby bar also did a fantastic job, Ferit, Caner and Ahmet looked after us so well. The entertainment team were amazing, a new team led my Emreh and Okan and the lovely Domfu who was always there with her bubbly personality and ready smile. This is truly the best hotel, we look forward to seeing everyone again in May. Thank you so much Akra Kemer

"Great family vacation"

We had a family vacation (2 children). We arrived at the hotel late, but they checked us in right away. The room was excellent, clean, and comfortable, with a side view of the sea. Our 1-year-old baby was immediately provided with a bathtub, high chair, and bathing set. The food at the hotel is of a very high standard, and there are 4 a la carte restaurants that can be visited for free by prior reservation. We were there in January, so only the indoor pool was open; it is quite small, but you can swim. Our eldest child (6 years old) really liked the kids' club. He ran there constantly, even when we went for a walk from the hotel, he said it would be better if he went to the club))) Fatih and Sevda worked with him in the kids’ club. Thank you very much, our son has really gotten used to them. They held various activities: drawing on the water, making masks and bracelets, painting houses, baking cookies. Overall, we really liked the hotel. We will try to come again!
