cute decor, felt fairly private, no loud neighbors, nice bathroom, cute shops nearby

not that close to transport if you need to get to the other side of Portland, noisy outside, blinds are not effective for keeping light out so would've preferred curtains, owner left a poorly worded and fairly aggressive letter about payment that was dropped off at a strange hour. my recommendation is to call the guest on the phone in the future, or drop the notice off in the early evening so that you're not woken up to this type of message cause it set a bad tone for the rest of my stay when I was already working around the clock.

The location is excellent and the bathrooms were kept very clean. You couldn’t even tell there were other people in the house. Everyone was respectful and quiet.

The twin bedroom i stayed in has no ventilation so i feel like that would be an issue in warmer temps. I was lucky and stayed there in cool temps and was able to leave the window open to cool down the room.

Location, location, location! Ease of access. Amenities include coffee, tea, juice, breakfast cereal, oatmeal, toast, milk.

I loved the shared kitchen. I'd been travelling for a few weeks and it was great to cook my own food in the kitchen. The shared facilities were all OK as there were not that many of us to share them. And a great location.

Room was a little small but that's probably why it was cheap
