Hotel Roma

Lovely hotel right in the centre. Would absolutely visit again.

Great location, reasonably clean, but no mirror in the room- only on top of the sink (we had a room for 3 girls - nightmare to get ready/do hsir an makeup). Breakfast very basic, but enough to get you going. Bad coffee. On the side - you can drop off the car and they will park it in garage. Staff at reception very nice

Have just returned after spending 4 nights here. I had a superior single room which was perfect for my needs. It was very clean and comfortable and I really appreciated the air conditioning. The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly and the location couldn't have been better being just minutes from everything. I'd definitely return to the Hotel Roma if I am ever back in Bologna. Grazie for a lovely stay..

Love this hotel. The property is well maintained, and it is centrally located. It is close to the main square and plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Very clean. Tasty breakfast. Great staff who gave us loads of information. Excellent location . Walkable. Tons of restaurants and sights less than a minute away.

This hotel is in a very old building but they have updated it nicely with many modern conveniences. Breakfast was very good and the Cafe Americano was one of the best I have had.

The hotel was great! The staff was phenomenal and very helpful. The location is amazing! I cannot tell you how great it was being in the center of the city like we were with Hotel Roma. If you’re looking at hotels that are a bit cheaper but located a bit further from the square, just splurge a little and pay the extra for the location. You’ll thank yourself later. This is important especially since you’ll want to come back and use the bathroom since there doesn’t seem to be any public use restrooms in all of Europe, lol. The breakfast is very good! The only downsides of the hotel is that the room seemed a bit outdated and small, but that’s because it’s like the oldest, continuously-run hotel in Bologna, and they don’t have many options to remodel it. We will definitely be coming back to Hotel Roma for our next stay in Bologna!

Perfect location in the Center of old town Bologna. The room itself was super small, with the window into a small courtyard, so sun never gets in. Good AC, kept the room cold. Breakfast was ok, fresh strawberries but juice quality needs to be improved
