Very nice hotel, and good spa facilities. Very clean throughout. The Lakes Restaurant, and adjacent lounge also very nice with friendly & professional staff.

Lovely grounds/lovely building/friendly staff from reception to chefs/barstaff/restuarant staff/housekeepers ypu name it.Spa great/vlean/tranquil great place to relax.Room nice/bed comfy/coffee/tea facilities.Had dinner in lakes restuarant very nice,Excellent attentive service without being intrusive.Food nicely presented and tasty.Thanks kitchen brigade👍Breakfast good choices continental then cooked option both very nice.This was our third visit to this (in our opinion) lovely hotel.Maybe you could find cheaper in surrounding areas but i always bear in mind you get what you pay for and in regards to hempstead house you certaintly get that!9.5/10 Highly recommend.Thank you everyone who again made our stay another one to remember.

Lovely old, characterful hotel with a spa and fitness centre. Room was lovely and spacious and bed was really comfy. Bathroom had both a tub and a shower and was very clean - as expected. Food in the restaurant was delicious and there was plenty of choice for breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay, from the moment we walked in we were greeted & made most welcome by a gentleman, he offered to help with our luggage & also showed us to our room which was lovely & spotless. Everything about this hotel is 5 stars. The staff are a credit to the hotel, they are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble, this without a doubt adds to the enjoyment to our stay. The food in the hotels Lakeside restaurant is superb. We cannot wait to return. Thank you for our wonderful stay.
