Charming colonial B&B in historic old Santo Domingo. Absolutely beautiful and quaint , however if you are someone like me that requires modern day amenities like hangers , iron ,a hair dryer, big mirror and extra bright lights on top of the bathroom vanity, you might find yourself a bit desperate. They definitely need better lighting throughout the rooms, especially the bathrooms. But if you are comfortable traveling with a back back and just splashing water on your face and not worrying about anything else, then try this property. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

The staff was excellent, Andres front desk, Carolina was the best, makes a good freak fast. I loved the little shop the have. Walking distance from everything, safe. If you need wifi in your room this is not the place, but they do have good signal in the lobby. I love the structure of the, beautiful old buildings, I do recommend more outlets to plugs in electronics. But other than that, I had a great time, I would go there again.

This hotel is in such a good location. But the owners are simply trying to save money by not doing basic maintenance on any part of it. They didn’t take credit cards, the room was 1/5th of the advertised size, the toilet did not flush, the hot water did not work, the bathroom can be seen from the lobby… and on and on and on. Do yourself a favor. Stay next door at the Belini. It’s expensive but it’s professional. This place is like staying at your dirty neighbor’s house.

This was a very nice boutique hotel. The staffs are pleasant. Its not a 5 star hotel, but a nice cozy boutique hotel. There are street parkings available.

Helpful staff. The first floor rooms let a lot of outside noise in. Very interesting rooms in terms of design but they could use some renovation.

Ridiculous room, the bed is on the 2nd floor, you have to use a steep staircase and to be careful not to stumble. The door is perforated, you hear the noise outside the room, as if it is in the room. For breakfast they serve egg without salt shaker, unbelievable...

El hotel es hermoso ! Me encanto el desayuno y las atenciones . Tiene una hermosa boutique que puede sacar a cualquier a de apuros . Durante mi estadía estuvo lloviendo mucho por lo que no pude disfrutar de la piscina ni de la parte afuera del hotel mucho . El hotel es antiguo y esa es parte de su belleza pero había mucho polvo en la habitación especialmente en el abanico de techo lo cual tuve que limpiar yo porque nos estaba causando alergias. Queda en un lugar muy céntrico y eso me gusto ! Las habitaciones necesitan un poquito más de amor eso es todo !
