The people here are the best. Nice, accommodating, helpful in every way. We loved the location. Walkable to all the sites in Santa Domingo. The rooms are small but very clean with great A/C. The hotel is beautiful. There was a modeling shoot in the pool area during our stay. Will be our go to place in Santa Domingo...

Very well located hotel. Nice rooms, good aircon, excellent price. If you like swimming, the pool looks beautiful. Very clean and very convenient.

Great location in zone colonial nearby everything easy walking in the area. Was quoted one price when I booked upon arrival I was told no credit cards only cash and the young lady short changed me $80.00 until I made her show the math she used.

I liked the nicely restored building and location close to the center of Zona Colonial. I did not like check in service where it took a long time to establish that I already had paid for the accommodations; the loud party on the hotel pool that made it impossible to sleep until 3 am; and the breakfast with stale bread, inedible cereal with bugs and cold scrambled eggs that didn't seem like made from fresh eggs.

There were HOLES in the wall in our room that mosquitos used to enter the room and bit us as we slept! The room was dirty - not cleaned - we found cracker crumbs and bathroom dirty!

I liked its location. I liked the fact that it is a historic building. I would have liked more information on the story of the house, its previous inhabitants, the history of the area back in the 1500-1600s when the house was in its original state and its owners.

Loved the location -- so close to everything in the Zona Colonial with plenty of choice for places to see and eat. Staff very friendly. Would prefer a bathtub but shower okay. Great that I got an upgrade. Don't advertise getting massages if they don't offer it -- at least they don't offer it any more. Menu choice is very limited if you decide on half board for dinner. You are better off eating in the neighborhood.
