Hotel Doña Elvira

I really liked the nice job they did restoring this building to its origins.

Colonial style building with a lovely courtyard and very friendly staff. This is not one of those overdone, chain-style hotels. It’s modest, tasteful, and an excellent choice for the proce-point.

Wifi is terrible in rooms. Loud music playing by the pool. Im on vacation and im not at a club.

The staff became as my family. The kitchen staff was friendly and eager to assist.

the hotel lost power several time in one day. The power was also out for more then one hour, this was not good in a tropical place.

Everything was great with the exception of the room, we reserve the suite with at least 6 month in advance and when we arrived the gave us two rooms I/o of the suite.

I tried this hotel which I liked and another one, boutique Palacia , Which I like even better. Nothing wrong with this hotel and much right about it . I would recommend either. I’ve previously stayed at the Sheraton but it is very nice to be right in the old colonial zone.

Ok experience but had better, they have a fashion show there. Which we did not like

Boutique hôtel in center of historic Santo Domingo . We like the pool in the middle of the internal courtyard, the deck of the roof with fantastic view of the town , specifically at night. Upgrade of the furniture of some rooms is needed. This hotel has a charm and is perfect for small budget.

GREAT PLACE SAFE LOCATION, CUSTOMER SERVICES VERY PROFESSIONAL ROOM SERVICE WAS AMAZING LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT THE WELL SEASONED FOOD AND SANGRIAS I HAD EVERYDAY LOL MET NICOLE AT THE FRONT DESK ALWAYS WAS WELL INFORMATIVE AND WAS WILLING TO HELP ON ALL ASPECTS WHEN NEEDED HIGHLY RECOMMEND VERY RELAXED HOTEL CANT WAIT TO COME AGAIN , WHOEVER BUILT IT HAS A UNIQUE TOUCH OF STYLE
