The Retreat, Elcot Park

The team was great and the service was wonderful. We struggled with the location of our room and the team took that feedback to heart and took care of us. It was much appreciated.

Really great spot for a 1-2 night away. Brilliant spa and pool, lovely countryside setting with great walks and relaxing feel. The whole vibe of the hotel is relaxed and cool. Sone really nice touches too (ie free soft drinks abs sweets in the room/pantry, board games in the bar, free pins on arrival, etc) Food very good too, nice restaurants and bars. And the staff were all great. Really good value. You would pay double for this type of staff in Cotswolds or alike. Great place, highly recommend

Had a lovely staycation at the retreat. Great outdoor pool and spa area. Staff are wonderful.

The food was terrible

Lovely outdoor pool and spa with friendly staff and good food! We were woken up by barking dogs in one of the rooms in the middle of the night - the staff were quick to sort the issue once we phoned reception, but the room was quite noisy.

A wonderful stay with great staff and setting. Only disappointing aspect was the food, especially the breakfast.

The building and grounds are beautiful. Staff are amazing and amazing 5 star touches such as a drink on arrival, freshly made biscuits in the room. They also gave us a complimentary drink in our room due to it being our anniversary. What lets this place down slightly is the room. Whilst it was still very nice it was on the small side and the shower is the main thing which is not good enough. It’s an old shower head which looks like something you would get in a travel lodge and water pressure was terrible. They should upgrade to rainfall shower heads to match the quality of the rest of the hotel. Dinner was exceptional. Amazing cocktails and food was spot on.

Much needed relaxing break in the countryside. Long walks and hot pools and spa access was incredible. I loved the atmosphere and the welcoming feeling. Service / staff were so lovely and helpful. I cannot wait to return and I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Simply put, the best place I have ever stayed in the UK.
