Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel

Tucked away in a rural location, but close enough to the motorway links. Upgraded my room, which was comfortable (there is a downside however, with warm weather the room isn’t air conditioned - (perhaps guests could be offered a fan?). We didn’t reserve a table for an evening meal, however, we was seated promptly & there was a varied menu. Our meal was nice & sufficient in portion size. Breakfast was terrific, buffet style, so you could have as much on your plate as you wanted. Full English, Continental or just cereal & there was plenty to choose from.

Had a musty, damp smell in the lounge area & corridor. There were some areas which looked a little tired & perhaps could do with a clean/refresh. That being said it might be an age thing, after all it was a grand Manor House. Slight downside, with expected warm temperatures, there wasn’t air conditioning in our room (& there wasn’t a fan)

Decor a bit rough around the edges in places but ok for the price for a night, served it's purpose

It’s my second visit with many more to come due to work. The grounds, lounge and bar are lovely and the food has been excellent. Love the selection at breakfast and sets me up for the day. Hannah was my waitress for the evening meal and made everything was as it should be.

It was peaceful area . Easy parking Bed comfortable. Room was nice.

To many steep stairs for me . I should have asked for ground floor. Breakfast was nice . Staff helpful
