the hot tub was so nice

This place is so charming and in an unbeatable location. The views from the room were insane, and the outdoor hot tub was perfect after hiking. They offer a lot of bonuses like bike and hiking rentals for free, and free smores at the campfire daily. They have streaming on the tv and the pillows were great! We saw a bunch of deer and wildlife just hanging out right outside our room window.

I fear if you don’t pay for the mountain view room with a walkout it may not be as spectacular of an experience. The rooms are a bit small, and the walls are paper thin, so we could constantly hear the tv and sometimes voices, or snoring from other rooms, as well as footsteps from the people above us. Also when we went outside our room to use the hot tub, there are no numbers on the outside doors of the rooms so we had to look into the windows of other rooms to find ours, which felt like an invasion of privacy.

S'mores on patio with visiting wildlife was fun but an offer of a drink on the patio would have been welcome

First room was very poor. Loud AC heating, missing bedside table etc. Second room better but bed sheets with holes and stained carpets. Way too hot and controls didn't work we had to leave the window open. Lighting poor. Shuttle bus/car only 10am to 6pm so no breakfast or dinner in town centre. The site restaurant was very expensive so we didn't go but the shuttle limitations made it seem like they wanted a captive audience. Hot tub for four people not great. Could be so much better with attention to details.
