Cork’s Vienna Woods Hotel and Villas

Very nice place - would stay there again!

This is a lovely hotel. Rooms are large and well laid out. The bathroom was updated and beautiful. The larger bed had a very hard mattress and the twin mattress was awful. It was hard to regulate the temperature if you were trying to have a bath as there is 2 taps. The walls between rooms are thin, so be prepared to hear your neighbors. The hotel is located quite far from anything but the grounds are beautiful. Also, the road to get into the hotel has a very,very sharp curve to get into it, where we watched more than one person have to back into the busy street to correct and make the corner. You have to book a time for breakfast if that is part of your package. You order hot food, which was delicious and there is a selection of yogurt, fruit,breads, muffins, etc. No one told us we had to reserve a table for supper so we had to wait, but a staff member from the restaurant came and found us when our table was ready. We arrived at the hotel at 3:38 pm and we're told no rooms were ready until 4. This seemed rather odd and of course come 4 pm, everyone is standing and waiting to be checked in. I think some concessions could have been made there, it wasn't like we were trying to check in at noon.

Very nice room and comfortable bed. Only one place to eat on property. Did not do buffet breakfast since in the same place we ate dinner which felt closed and no windows. With so many beautiful areas in hotel and terrace should do breakfast in a nicer place with views.

Thank you so much for the excellent day we had on Sunday for our parents wedding anniversary. The setting was fantastic, delicious food and service was exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciate it! The team were so helpful during the booking process too!

I’m staying at your hotel for 2 nights. The first morning, I put my used towels on the hook in the bathroom so I could reuse them the second day. When I got back to my room, they were gone and no towels were left in its place. I called downstairs to get towels and a shower cap. I waited over an hour and had to call 3 times for them to send them up. They said they were very busy. Surely, they can find someone to bring up towels within a hour! This was extremely frustrating. I don’t feel like they appreciate my business. How can I recommend this hotel to anyone? Very disappointed customer with Gate 1 Travel. Ellen Drazner PS-if I had let a customer down, I would have at least brought them a dessert or something to show the customer I was sorry for the poor customer service and to let them know they are appreciated.

Beautiful and elegant

Beautiful stay!

The whole experience from checking in until checkout was terrific. We were treated like one of the family. All staff very friendly and very helpful. Great location great service and beautiful food. Do not have an electric car but for reference there are charging points.

I would highly recommend vienna woods hotel for any occasion the staff all very friendly and helpful the food was excellent the room very spacious and comfortable the hotel itself is only fabulous enjoyed every minute of my stay will definitely return . Mary

Amazing staff, highly trained, super helpful and friendly. Gorgeous room and fantastic food. Perfect location. Outstanding value. 5 star hotel standards at 3 star prices. This is my favourite hotel in the south and can't wait to go back again.
