The Watermill Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Beautiful river, comfy beds, I've never slept so well in my life, very good breakfast, friendly staff, especially Shaun,he made us a tasty english breakfast and was so kind. He told us he was the chef and waiter and he did an amazing job too! 😊

I had a very comfortable stay at the Watermill Hotel. The room was clean and quiet and the facilities were good. I was very well looked after and Shawn in particular went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely peaceful stay, 2 pubs right opposite and the beautiful fishery inn 10 mins down the road. Drift limits is 20 minute walk and easy to find.

Very good stay overnight with nice rooms and really good service in morning from Shawn recommend to anyone staying near The breakfast was nice and there was a wide range of options from fruit full English pastry’s and more with a nice pub opposite

Part of the Sure Collection of Best Western. Really nice setting with 2 pubs directly across the road for dining options. My room was on the ground level and looked directly on to the car park so the car was only a few feet from the door which was really convenient. Really nice and friendly staff and very helpful. The room was really well decorated, up to date and clean. A nice big, comfy bed and double headed shower. There was a lovely view of the river which ran outside of the hotel. Breakfast was really well cooked and got the day off to the best start. Great value for money stay with only a couple of minor things stopping a 5 out of 5 review but would definitely look to stay here again.

This best western has been superb with outstanding service by all. In particular a member of staff Shawn showed exemplary service and assistance guiding both my wife and I to what was available at the hotel. The room was excellent, quiet and overall in a prime location for us both visiting family. We highly recommend this place for visiting and will be back to use this place as a base when in Hemel Hempstead. Thank you

Comfortable rooms and excellent staff led by Shawn who is professional, helpful and accommodating, creating a pleasant hotel experience. The hotel is well situated for a variety of activities and has the wonderfully unusual feature of a mill race running through the hotel buildings. Calm, quiet and relaxing.

Great experience at the Watermill. Very nice room and really lovely staff. Amazing breakfast, freezing cooked to our requests. Good value for money, too. We were late arriving ,(close to midnight) due to delayed flight and manager had stayed up to meet us and check us in.

Lovely property for our stay, staff were lovely especially Shawn. Only stopped here to break up my journey home. Nice Pub/restaurants just across the road in a nice location

We spent two nights here whilst visiting family in the area. Shawn welcome us and showed us to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a good breakfast, cooked to our taste. All the staff we meet were friendly. We would certainly return.
