Kalgoorlie Overland Motel

Great buffet and service, Friendly staff. Comes highly recommended by me. With a great chef and international theme nights it makes for a great night and a good meal plus heaps of parking. Handy to the city center and airport

Room type and the cleaning was good Breakfast, lunch for your day good quality and freshly made. The rooms are both well presented by the company which specialises in the FIFO,DIDO work force. I would like there to be a better internet connection though as far as that goes. All up nice place to stay.

The property was secure, clean and very well priced. It had everything well needed.

Warm welcome when you arrive. Big family rooms. Very clean with everything you need. Extra pillows and blankets provided. Showers are amazing. Only downfall we had was noisy neighbors at midnight but would definitely stay again.

The room was roomy and clean. Other guests decided to rev up their diesel 4WDs outside my window at 4am. The buffet was extremely over-priced and downright revolting. $29 for a promising range of Chinese and Indian dishes that utterly disappointed. The meat was dry and over-cooked. I did like one of the salads though and the lamb/brinjal wasn't too bad.

I stayed at this motel for one night with my family of five. We found it very spacious with lots of room. Reasonably priced with clean rooms, and the motel was locked up at night so cars are kept safe. Although we did not have breakfast here, we were told that they start breakfast at 4am which is ideal for travellers/workers.

We arrived at Kalgoorlie in the evening to find all the caravan parks closed. We drove past this motel and they were able to give us a room for the night which was great. It was basic for $149 but we expected this for a place like Kalgoorlie. Too tired to drive anywhere to get tea we were told we could have the buffet for $29 each. The buffet was good with lots to choose from and soup and dessert included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

My husband, daughter (23yrs old) and myself went to Overland Restaurant this evening. It cost $25.00 per adult. There was a samll variety to choose from but not much. All of the meats offered were over cooked and dried terribly. The "fresh salads" weren't as free as they should be. The mashed potatoes were actually flavoured very well. They also had thai curry chicken. The desserts looked good, I had the chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The dessert was the best of the whole buffet. Also, my husband got himself an ice cream, came back to the table and my daughter notice a long hair in it. My husband put it in a bowl and we just left. It is NOT worth the price.
